Can you get one of what too? If you want a STL puppy, go ahead and pick one from the second post. There are lots to chose from and they are free to use.

Anyway, this is a guide to how to draw eyes, the way I do it. In Corel painter, I bet it would work with okeaki, photoshop or gimp to. It requires layers to work though.

I draw eyes like this:

1. First I draw the entire picture and leave out holes in the colour where the eyes will go.
2. Then I make a new layer underneight the bodycolour layer (I'm drawing with Corel Painter 11. I draw the "backgorund" of the eye white, meaning I base with white. I also have another version where I work from a black base, you might have noticed that kind on my adoptables?
3. I use the crayon tool (For everything really, that's the only tool I ever touch) and lower the opacity to maybe 5%, I keep it this low for the rest of the creation of eyes. Then I draw the iris, so it becomes a little more compact colour near the center of the eye.
4. Still with low opacity I make a darker or lighter rim to the iris, and small areas of purer colour near the bottom of the eye.
5. I put a pupil in the same colour as the eye but darker, and then (optionally) a black one on top.
6. I finish of with white highlights, one larger at the upper corner of the pupil and a smaller one near the bottom of the eye.
