~~ INTRO
Winters cruel winds combed threw my fur. And the cold engulfing me turned to pain. I pushed my body up against my brother, desperate for heat, hope fading. No one would ever find us here on the bank of this forgotten river. And I missed my the tribe of warriors in which I had come from.sUDDENLy, the murmur of breathing from my brother stopped. I looked into his eyes, paralyzed. The beautiful life in his eyes draining. The last piece of happiness in my young life, fading. All I could do was give him a lick. He was gone….
Now I was alone. Alone in what my eyes received as a cruel and heartless land. So with no will to survive, I laid there in the blue grass piling with snow. Waiting for death to finally take me so I could be with my mother and brother. Maybe it would be more peaceful there anyways. But no. Nothing but more pain came. Nothing but the cruel images of death I had seen over the years came.
At last, I closed my eyes. I saw my mother. The one who had cared for me over the years. Her warm smile like golden rays of sun. And so the memory started. Too gruesome to put into words. It could only be blamed on one thing. Kronodors. The hatred of this thought lit a spark in me. This spark left unattended could start an inferno. And unattended it was left. My eyes flid open. Every fiber of my being screamed with pain as I began to stand. A growl I didn’t know I had, arose in my throat. I was now standing upright and gave a howl of anger, victory over death, and love for those of mine who had died. I then promised myself, that I would someday bring peace to the land of white water, blue grass, and my home. The land of Isket.
MUCH LATER
I couldn’t help but to smile as I saw the small rabbit sprint past me. I was up for a run. As I chased the rabbit down, warm drafts of air curled through my fur, as if I were flying. They were nothing like the cold winds I knew so well as a pup… I ran through streams and tangles of trees, letting the rabbit get ahead so I could run longer. Finally I got too hungry and caught it. It made a great meal.
After there were just bones on the edge of a rock, I decided to move on. So I began to stretch the stiffness out of my limbs and walk. Being alone and all, things get quiet and there’s not much to do but hunt for yourself. Usually in my spare time I either sleep or look for new places. Its not the most exciting life.
By the time the sun was setting, I’d reached a small river. I looked down into the calm white water blankly. Its iridescence was disturbed occasionally by small ripples, making my reflection bend. My mother, before she died, always used to tell me I was so beautiful when she caught me looking at my reflection like this. But I don’t really see it. All I see is a lone she wolf with no purpose. With a stomach full of rabbit, and the glow of the sunset, I slowly fell asleep.
For the many days following, which seemed like forever, everything fell into this same pattern. Only, I began to think. More deeply than I ever had. I began to think of how I had vowed as a mere pup to bring peace to Isket. Then I wondered how I would fore fill it. I had practically almost forgot about it up until now. Actually taking action was much different than my day dreams. But how would I do it? I don’t think I could just run into a mess of Kronodors and kill them. I don’t even have training armor like my brother had. But then again, what else could I do. What other way is there? With no Kronodors there would be peace.
That’s when I realize I’ve been pacing forward for about a mile. I looked down at my paws that where coated in mud and decided to just keep walking. My stomach was growling for food, but I didn’t care about that now. My thoughts where circling and circling until I had to stop. I just needed an answer. One answer! Frustrated I collapsed down under a tree, unable to think straight. And of course, a down pour hit.
Surprisingly, this calmed me. As if the moment the water hit my fur, it cleared some of the fogginess in my head. Puddles were beginning to form all around me. And the rain had completely penetrated my now matted coat. But for some reason, one puddle seemed to call for my attention. I stared into it. Nothing at first, but soon I realized something. As the ripples continued ~ WIP
~~~What is a WoI?: a WoI is like a big wolf with normal, really short, or long ears, that have 3 types of tails. They also fight against kronadors or chimeras in hope of creating peace in their land of Isket. Because of this, the land is split into two territorries. Plus, they all have armor. This armor must always have a chest plate and back plate. WoI is short for Warriors of Isket.
~~~~What are the colors of Isket?: grass: blue, water:white, mountains :redish brown
~~~~~What kind of armor do WoI teenies get?: wooden training armour.
~~~~~~Art: more to come, but :3...
