Looks like YOU need an Inspiration Fruit Tree! Only Positive reinforcement can grow them. Sense I didn't really understand the comments but it looks like you need some ideas for the "smell" whatever that he scents, as I am a master of creative ideas (though not these) Here are some possibilities:
He could smell: The girl in the prologue (or boy, or whatever he/she was), his mom like Marquess said, maybe a swampy scent of a lake he'd land in so he wouldn't die, maybe a new character friend-wolf, maybe blood somehow that has nothing to do with his falling survival, maybe soft mud that he'd land in, maybe a pool of molten candy, maybe...
Yeah just ask, I can come up with a TON of ideas.
Lol and how can you already be out of inspiration juice? I'm on page 20 of my comic and only 200 people have looked at the cover page alone, look at all these fans YOU'VE got! (My comic is called Dragons of the Soul, a comic about dragons coming from another dimension and fighting for the conquering/safety of the new world they're in.)
