Callipso was probably the most curious little marsupial across Australia. He explored everywhere,combing each and every single blade of grass on the great plains he roamed with his parents, for anything of interest. Unfortunately, this curious demeanor would get the little Wallaby into a lot of trouble. One fine, summer day, when the breeze blowing scents to read had ceased, Call had chosen a bad time to venture out. He hopped and stumbled along, not realizing he was being followed.As Callipso stopped to poke at a piece of grass for any bugs or rocks, a large net fell over him. He squealed in surprise and tried to fight. The next thing the poor wallaby knew, he was in a cage on the back of a moving truck. Poking his nose through the bars, he could see his mother trying desperately to catch up, but she soon grew distant. He knew he would never see her again.
The ride was very bumpy, and most of the way, little Callipso cried. He was afraid, unsure, and didn't know where he was going. Soon the truck screeched to a grinding halt, and Callipso's cage was thrown into the side. He was hauled roughly out and tossed onto a stack of other various baggage. He looked around frightened as burly men passed by the cage several times. Then, he was loaded into the back of an airplane, and everything went dark, as the plane took off. Poor Callipso was not great with air travel and got sick several times. When the plane finally landed at it's destination, halfway across the world, Call was scared for anything worse that might happen.
Callipso's captors had taken him to the circus, where he was placed in a small cage and had a balloon tied tightly to his tail. For days, the poor little guy sat there, sad, lost, alone. One day though, he was released by people who seemed to want to help him. Now, he is happily waiting for adoption (May add more)
