"Bye, Bleu! See you in a few weeks, girl!" I watched as my best friend Emily drove off with my dog, taking her for a dog show. I probably wouldn't see her for a few weeks, but it was OK, since she loved to run and play with other dogs.

My cotton candy perfume seemed to fill up the whole bus as we sped along. What was I doing? Running away like this... Nah, I wasn't running away... Just taking a drift away from heartbreak. I felt as if all that had happened was buying flowers and trinkets, with cool little shines and dewy droplets that seemed to sparkle like the sun. But nothing had worked. I peered out the bus window, watching as people passed with ear buds crammed in their ears or their pit bulls lolling along happily. Every day seemed the same, with everybody doing the same thing, and I had even seen the same dude with the same iPod and the same spotted black and white labrador.
I couldn't hold back the sigh. It seemed to escape me, laughing at how I didn't even want to hold it back. My mind seemed to drift off into wonder, dreaming up unimaginable Ahzenai. For each Ahzenai, they had a special rose, all different colours with wet, gleaming dew drops gliding down the stem.
"Excuse me? Is this seat taken?" I looked beside me, taking the weight of my face off my sore hand. A small girl, with a beaming smile across her face, "Umm... No, you can take it." the girl sat down, wiggling and twisting to try and get comfy. "So! What's your name?" she stared at me. I blinked once, then turned to face the window. "Hello?" she coaxed. "Aaaaaarrrrree yoouuuuuu deeeeaaaafffff?" she said slowly. By the tone of her voice, I think she actually thought I was... "Er -- no. My name is Razz (LOL)." she giggled, and turned to talk to the boy beside her.
FINALLY! Some peace and quiet. I stared out the window again, letting my green eyes trance me again. This time, I dreamed up a loominating blue Ahzenai, crawling across a sandy shore, lonely and in need of a friend. A name came in my head: Oelaer. Weird name, huh? I thought it was cool, but to the average human being it would be a little awkward -- "IS THIS YOUR STOP?" the girl said, with small drops of spit taking orbit to my face. I wiped them off with my sleeve and looked at her, "Yeah, sure." I got up, and squished passed, speeding towards the exit.

My feet scuffed the hard dirt as I came wading through the people-thick crowd. A large stone started squawking at my screaming hip, which hurt from a bike fall.
As I sat down, a cool chill shot through me, which woke me up from my Ahzenai-filled trance. When my glazed eyes awoke and widened, all I saw was blue. It wasn't the pale blue you'd find on most modern jeans, either. It was the blue you envy and plead for, for just another peek... It was the blue from Oelaer. No... It couldn't be from Oelaer! He was a figment of my imagination. I looked over at Valcyon, who I casually admired for his wisdom.
"Oelaer!" He announced to the surprisingly quiet audience.
Oh crap.
I watched Oelaer emerge from the vortex, from paw to tail. My astonishment kept me from running to him and tackling him just for me to stare for endless days. My fingers and palms twitched as my anxiety came bubbling over. I looked at my side for Bleu, but she wasn't there. Her usually soft enjoyment -- disapeared -- filled my heart with sadness til I thought I was going to choke on it.
Just then a mob of suitors waved through me, crashing me down to the floor. They were like crazy girls gone mad, as if Oelaer was Justin Bieber or Grayson Chance... I followed them, interested to hear what Oelaer was going to say. But over all teh girls screaming and shouting I couldn't understand anything!
I pushed aside a rather short girl, who -- like dominos -- pushed over the next, who crashed onto the next, who fell on the next, then lastly only about three girls were left standing -- an me. They all stared at me, then at Oelaer, as if he would tell them where to pinch me.
I glared at each girl, until finally they packed up the papers from their pockets and left. This left me alone with Oelaer...
I sat down next to him, then I looked up solemnly, with a twinkle in my eye. It was rather hot here in Ahzen, so I took off my coat and scooted closer to the Ahzenai, "Umm... Hi," I said nervously, "your Oelaer, right? I'm Razz..." I put my face in my hands, embarrassed and nervous, "I had this... I don't know... Dream, I guess -- about you. You were blue, of course, and you seemed lonely." I paused, to let him take it all in if it seemed weird, "Are you lonely?" I finally asked, putting my hands behind me for me to lean on. They pressed into the soft earth, leaving little hand prints with long 'piano-fingers', as my mom had called them.
I waited for a reply, but got none, "If you are... I'd... I'd like you to come with me." I bit my lip, staring at the ground, "You know, to be my companion. I think... Maybe we'd really like each other, you know." my feet seemed to twitch anxiously, waiting for me to run away in terror, "What I meant to say, was... Well I guess I'm just lonely. Bleu seems lonely, too. She's my rough collie, by the way. I wish she could have met you... She really loves Ahzen, and all the creatures in it."
I smiled a little, then reached in my pocket, pulling a picture pf Bleu, "See..." I handed it to him, then stood up and hugged the big blue Ahzenai, "Please come with me... On my journeys and adventures. It'll be fun!"
I smiled.
