Not really a new lineart as in a new pose, but the old one updated to look cleaner and to be easier to work with. (:

Walking through the woods with my deerhound was getting quite boring. His shaggy muddy coat blew in the wind. i never thought it would be boring, but now it is. I didn't like hunting the deer, i only went tracking with my hound to find the deer. i never shot them or harmed them. i learned that i should always wear orange whenever i go out, tracking, even Scottie, my Deerhound had his own orange vest, that i made him.

My dad always said "Deer can't think; Animals can't... think! They don't even feel the pain, That's something you have to get in your head, Alycia!" He yelled at me, before he passed from a hunting accident. i was with him. He had, sadly, shot himself. The deer had ran.

That's when i saw her; That same deer from that day.

Her hide was a light, soft, brown. She had several Veils of white and gray on her back, ans she grazed. I thought it was the sun at first, but it wasn't. She was amazing. That was when i knew i wanted to have her as a pet.

I slowly got up and took a step toward her. She froze in fear.

"I can protect you from those hunters. I have no gun, so do not be afraid. Will you come with me?" i asked.

I do love how clean and pretty the new lines are... but theres something so charming about the sketchy lines from the old line art. And I like the shape of their head and eyes a little better I think. Can't quite put my finger on it. Although on the newline art, their hooves are adorable.

I'm actually glad you guys still like the old base, even though I enjoy working with the new lines so much more. xD
As said earlier, they're much easier to work with and to fit in more details, but I'm still keeping the old lines for those who doesn't really want to let go of them quite yet. :3

so happy that you're keeping the old lines as well. i think one of the main things i enjoy about the old lines are that the facial features look very delicate, more feminine. x3 but i understand how the cleaner lines are easier to work with - i do enjoy them just as much.
