There was a sudden shift in color, a transition from earth browns and reds to contrasting teal streaked with whorls of pink, as the vortex again worked itself in to frenzy, signaling the imminent arrival of a new Ahzenai. The occasional flashes of rosy whites seemed to eddy and drift at once faster and against the remainder of the vortex, almost mesmerizing in their distinctiveness. The pink bands paused but for a moment, then swiftly converged to a circular central mass, bright spots of gray gold popping and flickering, until a smooth-stepped Ahzenai glided effortlessly out, the pink colors fading as though he was pulling them from the vortex as he left.
He chuffed once, twice, a sort of throat clearing cough that implied disarming ordinariness, professing that he was but another conventional Ahzenai, and would not be prone to any form of strangeness or peculiarity. Wooing him, then, should seem a simple enough task, his unassuming personality further implied as he seemed to wait for further instruction or direction, with no particular inclinations of his own.
“Levorith,” declared Valcyon, as though there was something to be noted, something memorable, in the name if nothing else.
Before making his way to the humans, all eagerly awaiting his first move, he meandered a bit, circling around his fellow Ahzenai, the picture of innocent curiosity searching for reassurance. Guileless pale gold eyes blinked rapidly, absorbing all he saw with gusto. If his eyes tended to linger on those with finer shapes, more interesting markings, higher quality posture, the most riveting conversation, this too could easily be attributed to curiosity. It was only when Levorith became prone to initiating direct contact with these more appealing Ahzenai that an inkling of truth was shown; his judgment of character and desirability lied predominantly with his own aesthetic sense, and he would have his desires and conclusions be known.
A saucy wink and purr ruthlessly shattered any preconceptions of naivety; here was an Ahzenai who knew what he wanted and was not afraid to go get it. The female he’d been cozying up to snapped, rather offended by his chauvinistic antics, and he backed up with a jaunty hop skip, physically speaking, ‘you’ll be bake for more later, babe, I promise.’
Finally turning away from the congregated Ahzenai, he returned his attention to the humans. Obviously playing innocent was a guise run out of purpose; a different tactic must be here employed. So he strutted, placing one navy blue paw in front of the other in an exaggerated, highly predatory swagger, dark blue tail flicking sharply side to side, head help high and nose lifted at the optimum angle for balancing plates.
He made for the females first, naturally, for they were clean, smelled sweet, and tended towards visually appealing clothing, adorned with trinkets that only further highlighted physical beauty.
“Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?” came a rumbling purr, molten voice dripping with innuendo.

I looked up as I saw the vortex begin to change colors, from a brown and red to a teal blue and pink. I curiously awaited the new Ahzenai's "birth", wondering what that color design would look like. I watched as a royal-like Ahzenai leapt from the vortex, his pink siwrls flashing brightly against his blue fur. I watched as he approached a female Ahzenai, though she seemed disgusted by his attempts at roamance with her and padded away. I laughed at this Ahzenai, wondeirng what it would be like to have the flirty creature at her side.
Mist padded up beside me as the Valcyon called his name for all to hear. "Levorith." Valcyon called and the name stuck in my head. Mist eyed the Ahzenai, "Handsome, but not very good at flirting." Mist grinned, watching as Levithor asked, “Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?” I wondered what it meant. It sounded like French to me but I wasn't sure. Mist glanced at my confused expression and rolled her eyes, explaining to me. I laughed, "Well, we might aswell go meet the flirt." I grinned, walking towards the large group of females that eagerly awaited his inspection.
Mist padded after me, her excitement obvious, though she tried to hide it. We waited for the ring of humans and animals to thin out before pushing our way to the front. I couldn't help but glance at what I was wearing, a little annoyed at my clothes, but I wore a nice necklace with a charm that depicted a beautiful waterfall. Mist eyed me dissaprovingly before noting the necklace. She nodded a little, "It adds more color." she said, grinning a little as she fixed her fur quickly, sitting down with her tail curled over her paws.
I laughed at her, "I think you're hoping to woo him just as much as me!" I grinned at her and she rolled her eyes, though she didn't protest. I glanced at Levithor to find him near me and paused, wondering what to say. Mist padded forward some, "Well Levithor, you've got a nasty mind." she said, her eyes sparkling as she murmured, "I like that about males, always trying to make the females fall head-over-heels before your glory." she grinned, gently brushing her tail under his chin as she added, "See you around soon I hope." before returning to her place beside me. I held back my laugh as best I could as I noted his regal appearance and the confident way he held his head, proudly standing before me. "Your a pretty nasty boy, aren't you?" I grinned, laughing lightly at myself as I said, "I've never met an Ahzenai like you, Levithor, I hope to see you around sometime soon." I leaned forward and kissed his nose before turning and walking away.
Mist laughed at me, "I don't think he'll bye it." she grinned as she padded after me, glancing back over her shoulder to note his regal stance and predatory walk, as if trying to find the juiciest peice of prey. She rolled her eyes at him, though she couldn't help but grin wider. "I'm nott he only one who likes him I see." I teased her, leapingout of the way as she swatted at me with her large paw. I laughed racing away as she chased me.
