feeds a worm and apple blended into a juice then sprayed on egg. waits until some has soaked in, then whipes of sticky egg, heats up a blanket and wraps around egg, singing silent night. (personally fell asleep to for years!)

feeds rest of worm apple mix that I left in the fridge but have now warmed up, waiting until some time has passed for it to soak in , then cleaning the outside of the shell from stickyness, I cuddle the egg enjoying the smoothnes of it on my arm seeing the tiny beak that lets me know to bring real food, I clean the egg again not wanting my germs to cause it harm. laying it in the warmed blanket and cleaning the area around it with a animal friendly cleaner (soap and water). then leave to take care of it later today.

I feed this Aegolius pieces fo chopped up worm in its little beak one at a time so it doesnt choke. whiping its mouth after it done and stroking the beak. I hold the shell in my arms for a while cooing to it, then rewarm blanket and put the egg back in it till I can return later.
