What: Canis Oceana, a new species of Canis Lupus discovered in the Gulf of Mexico.
Who: A group of scientists from Florida discovered the mysterious canines when monitering the ocean floor in the Gulf.
When: Very recently, explorations to collect this species have only recently began.
Where: Canis Oceana is located all around the world, in all major bodies of water. Depending on their location, their color changes. For example, if the Canis Oceana is located in a Mediterranean type climate, their color is located in the warm pinks, oranges and reds. If the Canis Oceana is located in freezing bodies of water, like near the top or bottom of the Earth, its colors are more Whites, Blues and Sea-Greens.
Why: Canis Oceana are fascinating, spectacular beings. They're Omnivores, preferring to eat the small fish at the bottom of the ocean. They are usually gentle to all others, and have been known to swim up to swimmers in the ocean when they are wild. Also, they are very beautiful, with long flowing fins and graceful swimmers.
How: Using large tanks of water, Canis Oceana are transported to land and given away to responsible owners. The owners are instructed to love their Canis Oceana (Or Oceanis for short) and keep them in a tank, or if possible, a pond. Oceanis thrive in any type of water, but prefer a large area to swim about. It's advised to keep the tank stocked with a good amount of seagrass and small fish so the Oceanis can feed itself. (Oceanis feeds itself by hiding in tall seagrass and luring in fish with its long tail. The tail is camouflaged so that it can blend in with whatever sea grass is native to the area it is located in.)
Now that you've found out about this new species, why don't you adopt one?
