The next Ahzenai to appear from the vortex did so in a most unusual manner. Instead of simply walking out like his previous cousins, Thegalym was launched from the vortex in a fiery mass and crashed into the lake, spraying water everywhere. He came up sputtering and coughing and paddled over to the edge of the lake, dragging himself out. His normally bright and fiery element was nothing more then a slight glow as it recovered from the dousing. He stood there for a moment- apparently letting the sopping nature of his fur hit him- then shook violently to dislodge the dampness.

Once satisfied he was no longer dripping he waltzed over to a boulder and hopped on top, settling down for an intensive grooming. He was just in the middle of drying his left shoulder when he noticed the humans watching him. He paused for moment before recoiling back in shock. Where did they come?! Panic filled him and he almost slipped off his perch and back into the water.

"Stay back!" He yelped, "I, Thegalym am a powerful Ahzenai and I'm not afraid to whoop on you!"

He formed a fist with his paw and shook it, as if to emphasize his point.

Name: Thegalym

Shaye walks around and sighs. She looks over and sees a weird animal,''Hello''she whispered softly. She looked at it's coat and smiled thinking to herself ''Pretty coat''.She smiled happily and walked closer but slowly. She finally sat next to it petting it gently and slowly, hoping not to scare it.She held out her hand with a gold necklace, watching it shine in the sunlight. She laid it down by him in the dirt, with a smile,''It's for you''she said with a gentle, soft smile. She stood up and walked to the river while looking back,''He's so cute''she laughed to herself. She sat by the water and put her feet in.''I wish he would come to me''she said to herself, she looked back again and couldn't help smiling. She was thinking to herself,''I wonder what his name is?''she thought. She stood up and walked over to a cave, looking in.''This must be there he lives''she said out loud. She walked away trying not to disturb it's home.''Maybe one day we'll cross paths''she hoped, while walking home. She turned back once more, she loved him even though she had only been with it for a short time,''I love you''she whispered,a tear falling from her cheek.

I sure hope I did this right this time.

From the vortex padded forth a female Ahzenai, she was gray along her back and face and a had a shocking splash of red marking her chest. Black stripes crossed her lower back and ran along her sides and thighs. She held her head level with her body and examined the area, spotting many people wandering around Ahzen. At first she was confused why their were so many people but then she remembered the age old tradition of Ahzen and of the Ahzenai. 'To seek companionship with a human or other creature and to live as long as said friend so that neither one of the pair shall be lonely and without the other.' That was fine by her as some Ahzenai loved to leave and see the world, but she liked it just fine in Ahzen, and there were plenty of humans here to play with. Though she did have to admit, it would get boring staying inside all the time. Perhaps leaving would be good? In any case she could always come back if she decided she didn't like it. She wouldn't let no human control what she did, no-sir-ree!

"It better be worth it," she snorted before deciding to take this 'wooing' business into her own paws. She padded up to a human and made her introduction.

"I'm Adethea," she said boldly. "I like staying in Ahzen, so if you want me to come with you, answer me this: What can you offer me, that I don't already have here?"

She gestured to the cave behind her, which offered shelter, food, water and the necessities of life.

I was sitting boredly on the ground, playing with a strand of my golden hair. I sighed, but my head looked up when I heard Ahzenai entering. The first one just took my breath away, and I was stuck in a trance. I examined her beautiful markings, eyes stopping on the mark on her chest, listened to her strong voice... And her question. I thought it over, thinking about trying to 'woo' her. Well, I guess I could try. As I got closer. I thought more about her, and how amazing she was.

I finally approached fully, listening to this beautiful creature speak. Such elegance and grace, like she knew what she was talking about. She had that wonderful air about her, strong and powerful, bit maybe even nice on the inside. I thought that was pretty awesome. I would love to have such a magnificent and powerful creature as my partner. 'Such wonderful eyes and looks... Hm...what to say' I thought to myself. I started off with a polite nodd towards her, and spoke up in a kind and gentle voice. "Hello there. My name is ~Rue, Stolen Girl~, but please call me Rue. I can offer you a loving home, a great partner, luxury, if you would like. I absoulutely would love to have you as my companion, as my partner, as an EQUAL, not as a pet, I mean, PA-LEAZE, you may even be smarter then some people who think your a pet. I mean, people who think you are a pet are stu- Anyways, like I said, I will offer you all the necessities you have now, and even more. I love animals, like to take care pf them. Then release them back into the wild, not keep them locked up like pets. My house is quite large, and you'd probably get a huge room! I do sometimes have dance classes, but you would be able to tag along. I love singing, hope you have a passion in it to! I mean, that would be cool. And figure skating, but you probably don't know what that it... Or do you?... No matter. I love to care for things, and love having someone to talk to. Believe me, I will not desert you. I mean, who would? Your such a beautiful, powerful, and magnificent creature...." I said aloud, staring at her with a look of adoring awe. There was just something about her that was amazing. She had no element unlike most of them, but her personality was like her element. She seemed bold, questioning us humans why she should come with us. I still thought she was the exact same thing.... Amazing, awesome, and whatever large word to describe something 'Spectacular'. There, found one! :3 Well, as I stared at her, I felt a sinking feeling. Was my blabbering on speech good enough compared to everyoneelses?.... Well, no matter, gotta keep my hopes up. I self consciously pulled my shirt bottom rim down over my pants, looking around again. So many people, so much time. Makes me want to run around in circles, screaming 'OMGOSH STRESS!!!' "Thank you for your time." I said quietly and poliely, curtsying.

I stepped back, not sure about what I said still. I just looked on, hoping she'd look over my small speech. I stepped forward again and opened up the palm of my hand to reveal a ruby stone with a darker shade to it that matched the red spot on her chest. I smiled kindly at her, and held it up. "For you." then I stepped back, giving a polite nodd. I glanced around, then watched the elegant creature again with a smile on my face. I jumped at the sound of the second creature. He looked like a rough and tough male, but I was still enchanted by this beautiful female. I looked back up at her, ignoring the sounds coming from the other Ahzenai. I was still smiling my nice smile, trying to look grown up and professional. But inside, I was freaking out. 'Keep your head straight and a smile on your face!' I thought. I still smiled though. Then I thought. And I realized something. She reminded me of something important. I loved this one anime, and one of the girls, Rue or Princess Kraehe, was controlled by a raven. She ha blood red eyes and black hair. And reminded me of her. I stepped forward again. "May I just say something?... I have this fav anime back on the human world, and you remind me of my favourite character. I just think your so amazing, how powerful and strong.... But I'm probably annoying now, just blabbering on. Sorry!" I said sheepishly, shyly backing away.

I looked at my feet and sighed. What was she going to think of me now? A stupid person who tries to hard?... Great going, I probably just blew my chance.

(Oh. I like end it ilk this :3)
(Thanks Onyx, you really boost my confidence :D
(Hope I did that right *face palms* Its really bad)

My breath showed itself around me as I huffed in frustration, legs aching after yet another painful heave upwards to reach the top of the rocky mountain that I slowly but surely escalated. My blue eyes, often compared to ice, were narrowed to slits as I glared at the next level of rocks, as if they'd magicly reveal a cave if I stared at them long enough. Evidentally not.

I didn't belong here. Not at all. My jacket was lined with Rinestones, completely designer, along with my jeans and boots, and I was climbing a mountain. A snowy, sickeningly earthy, dangerous, mountain. So not impressed. But my hopes were set sky-high in finding these magnificent creatures that my friend spoke of. She, unlike myself, remained a constantly loyal friend to nature. I, on the other hand, remained a constantly loyal friend to Prada.

One last painful haul upwards (( I broke a newly-manicured nail that time, this better be worth it -.-" )) and I collapsed onto the snowy ground, chest heaving, until I realized what I was doing and immediately got to my feet. You think I'm getting snow on this outfit? Not a chance.

Glancing around, my pale-white face was achingly pleading now as I searched for a cave. A cave, a cave, a cave... A cave! Warm light flooded from its entrance, aluring like a shopping mall. Without hesitation, I stepped inside, my strikingly blue eyes shining with the light of awe, wonder, and ever-growing suspense. I hadn't been this excited since the last 30% off sale on all designer-wear. With me, being compared to a major designer-wear sale is like, legendary. No joke.

Vaguely, I listened to the first Ahzenai as he spoke of what they were--- Yeah, little late there buddy, I'm already wayyy up to speed on all this, thank you very much. Jeeze. After what seemed like hours, the old bum finally stopped talking, and left me alone. Sure took him long enough. Flipping my long black hair over my shoulder, I survayed the area around me, quite dissapointed in what I saw. Instead of stunning creatures roaming the place, I found water, dirt, rocks, more dirt, an big surprise, more dirt. The only thing even vaguely interesting in the place was the vortex in which I'd been told Ahzenai appear from.

Sighing, I gingerly attempted wiping away any dirt the had settled itself in the rock before plopping myself down (( Yes, on a rock! Surely these creatures heard of chairs... Right? O.o )) with a wince. With this, I waited, but the time most definitely was not wasted. I pulled my purse onto my lap, brushing at my already-perfect hair, tweaking my makeup, and finally, painting my nails. Pulling out the ruby-red polish, I felt myself smiling. Perfect match for my jacket.

Unscrewing the top from the bottle of red polish, I was interupted by a wooshing sound, comming from my left. Shrugging, I set the bottle down beside my before looking over. What I'd been expecting after the first Ahzenai, I haven't a clue, but it definitely wasn't the stunning creature that glided across the cave floor right then, body in perfect line, including her head. She seemed to be analizing and examining the area, something that confused me, since I didn't really find much to see here... Except myself, of course.

"I'm Adethea, I like staying in Ahzen, so if you want me to come with you, answer me this: What can you offer me, that I don't already have here?" At this, I smirked. Smart girl, this one was; she definitely had no problem catching my attention. She reminded me of myself, really, and I mean, who wouldn't like me? So why wouldn't I like her? A perfect match, we were.

Before replying, I took the time to admire her features (( I guessed she was probably admiring my features too, 'cause, duh, who wouldn't? )) and found my eyes resting on her chest. "O.M.G. Girl, I have some nail polish that would totally match that red on your pelt. I mean, even you beautiful Ahzenai gotta keep it fresh, right?" I gave her a wink, my personality clearly just as bold as hers. Only after I said this did I remember her question, and, finding that I didn't really have a reply prepared, decided it was the best I could do to wing it.

"Err, okay. Well, obviously you can't find a very sanitary place here, but you can find it with me. See, at my house, we have three maids, one for each level of the house, so you'll find a clean house everywhere you go. Plus, how would you find shopping malls in this place? Obviously you wouldn't, so obviously you wouldn't find any products to keep that pelt shiny. But by comming with me, you'll see aisle upon aisle of all kinds of things for you. Grooming supplies, toys, and even special shampoos in case of fleas or ticks. Surely you wouldn't want to have to sit here scratching bugs in your pelt all day?" I, personally, found this thought absolutely horrifying, not to mention disgusting. Like, seriously, bugs? Worst. Nightmare. Ever.

"More than that, I can buy you anything! You want a big comfy bed to sleep in at night, its all yours! Plus a designer comforter, no doubt." My eyes were shining at these thoughts, bright as the red of Adethea's chest and eyes. "And girl, trust me, you would get sooo pampered! I know the best stylists around; the could make that coat shine like a ruby! Speaking of rubies," Mystery in my eyes, I bounced over to the nailpolish beside my stray purse. Turning back to face Adethea, I gave a big, perfect smile. "This color goes perfect with that chest of yours, and your eyes! I can paint your claws if you want." I waggled the bottle a bit in my fingers, the aluring color shining bright in the dim light of the cavern.

Flipping my har back again, I shrugged. "Well, its all up to you I guess. Pampered to the fullest and finest luxury, or... Well, whatever they have to offer." I waved my hand to the side to indicate the other woo-ers whom stood a little ways off. With that, I walked off to the edge of the cavern, purse in hand and brush going through my hair. Leaning back against the cave wall ((I know, so gross, right?! )) I pulled up my purse, grabbing my several cards(( Debit, visa, you name it )), waving them in front of me like I fan, as if to back up my statements on how pampered she'd be. Ah, yes, she'd surely win a life of luxury with me.

He formed a fist with his paw and shook it, as if to emphasize his point.

Name: Thegalym
Gender: Male
Element: Plasma

I watched as the first Ahzenai slipped out of the vortex. She stared at the humans defiantly, as if daring them to try and woo her. She didn't exactly seem like my type, but she was magnificent. Just as I was about to try and woo her, the was a shocking splash to my left and I jumped back, my heart hammering wildly. The female didn't pay him any attention and stalked away, but I was entranced by the male that slid out of the steaming pool of water. The faint glow of his element on his back illuminated his features beautifully, and I drew a sharp breath. He was so breath taking.
When he finally noticed the humans in the room with him, he snarled something and balled up his paw, forming a fist. This Ahzenai was much different from Taas. I stepped forward timidly, hoping he wouldn't be scared away. He spun to face me and snarled something else. I held my hands up as if to say "I won't hurt you" and backed away a bit. He seemed to settle down after a few quiet moments, but his fur still bristled in a silent warning to me. "I'm sorry we scared you like that..." I said softly, hoping he would understand that I didn't want to hurt him. He seemed to, and the fur flattened out slightly. He stared at me with his entrancing emerald green eyes and huffed something under his breath.
"I know other humans will offer you fancy items and wonderful treasures. I have nothing like that, but I do have a loving home and wonderful adventures awaiting you if you do choose to leave with me." I said in a kind voice, noticing that my words were slowly calming him. After a few more minutes of silence he slid out of the water and laid down, his sleek fur shining brilliantly in the glow of his fiery element. I noticed that his horns were different from Taas's, and that intrigued me. I had never met an Ahzenai with horns like that before. "Why are you so wary of us humans?" I asked, my inquisitive nature getting the best of me. "Are we really that odd looking to you Ahzenai?" I chuckled slightly at the thought that popped int my head. I had always wondered if the animals kept in zoo's thought that we were just there to entertain them, but at the same time we're all convinced that the animals are there to entertain us. It was an odd way to look at things really. Maybe the same thing applied here. We thought that Ahzenai were strange and wonderful, and they thought the same about us.
When I finally reemerged from my thoughts, the Ahzenai was looking at me in a sort of curious manner, as if he wanted to know more about me, just like I did about him. He was flicking his tail and his ear were pointed towards me, all of his fear seemed to have changed into curiosity. "I know you don't trust humans, but I have an Ahzenai that's had such a good time with me since he chose to be my companion." I stroked Taas's silky pelt affectionately and he looked at Thegalym. "We've had such great adventures, ones I'm sure you would have enjoyed as well." He said in his confident voice. "Anyway, I was just wondering, could you ever trust a human like me enough to accompany me home?" I asked hopefully.
