From the vortex padded forth a female Ahzenai, she was gray along her back and face and a had a shocking splash of red marking her chest. Black stripes crossed her lower back and ran along her sides and thighs. She held her head level with her body and examined the area, spotting many people wandering around Ahzen. At first she was confused why their were so many people but then she remembered the age old tradition of Ahzen and of the Ahzenai. 'To seek companionship with a human or other creature and to live as long as said friend so that neither one of the pair shall be lonely and without the other.' That was fine by her as some Ahzenai loved to leave and see the world, but she liked it just fine in Ahzen, and there were plenty of humans here to play with. Though she did have to admit, it would get boring staying inside all the time. Perhaps leaving would be good? In any case she could always come back if she decided she didn't like it. She wouldn't let no human control what she did, no-sir-ree!
"It better be worth it," she snorted before deciding to take this 'wooing' business into her own paws. She padded up to a human and made her introduction.
"I'm Adethea," she said boldly. "I like staying in Ahzen, so if you want me to come with you, answer me this: What can you offer me, that I don't already have here?"
She gestured to the cave behind her, which offered shelter, food, water and the necessities of life.
Name: Adethea
Gender: Female
Element: None
Notes: Based on a bleeding heart dove.
My breath showed itself around me as I huffed in frustration, legs aching after yet another painful heave upwards to reach the top of the rocky mountain that I slowly but surely escalated. My blue eyes, often compared to ice, were narrowed to slits as I glared at the next level of rocks, as if they'd magicly reveal a cave if I stared at them long enough. Evidentally not.
I didn't belong here. Not at all. My jacket was lined with Rinestones, completely designer, along with my jeans and boots, and I was climbing a mountain. A snowy, sickeningly earthy, dangerous, mountain. So not impressed. But my hopes were set sky-high in finding these magnificent creatures that my friend spoke of. She, unlike myself, remained a constantly loyal friend to nature. I, on the other hand, remained a constantly loyal friend to Prada.
One last painful haul upwards (( I broke a newly-manicured nail that time, this better be worth it -.-" )) and I collapsed onto the snowy ground, chest heaving, until I realized what I was doing and immediately got to my feet. You think I'm getting snow on this outfit? Not a chance.
Glancing around, my pale-white face was achingly pleading now as I searched for a cave. A cave, a cave, a cave... A cave! Warm light flooded from its entrance, aluring like a shopping mall. Without hesitation, I stepped inside, my strikingly blue eyes shining with the light of awe, wonder, and ever-growing suspense. I hadn't been this excited since the last 30% off sale on all designer-wear. With me, being compared to a major designer-wear sale is like, legendary. No joke.
Vaguely, I listened to the first Ahzenai as he spoke of what they were--- Yeah, little late there buddy, I'm already wayyy up to speed on all this, thank you very much. Jeeze. After what seemed like hours, the old bum finally stopped talking, and left me alone. Sure took him long enough. Flipping my long black hair over my shoulder, I survayed the area around me, quite dissapointed in what I saw. Instead of stunning creatures roaming the place, I found water, dirt, rocks, more dirt, an big surprise, more dirt. The only thing even vaguely interesting in the place was the vortex in which I'd been told Ahzenai appear from.
Sighing, I gingerly attempted wiping away any dirt the had settled itself in the rock before plopping myself down (( Yes, on a rock! Surely these creatures heard of chairs... Right? O.o )) with a wince. With this, I waited, but the time most definitely was not wasted. I pulled my purse onto my lap, brushing at my already-perfect hair, tweaking my makeup, and finally, painting my nails. Pulling out the ruby-red polish, I felt myself smiling. Perfect match for my jacket.
Unscrewing the top from the bottle of red polish, I was interupted by a wooshing sound, comming from my left. Shrugging, I set the bottle down beside my before looking over. What I'd been expecting after the first Ahzenai, I haven't a clue, but it definitely wasn't the stunning creature that glided across the cave floor right then, body in perfect line, including her head. She seemed to be analizing and examining the area, something that confused me, since I didn't really find much to see here... Except myself, of course.
"I'm Adethea, I like staying in Ahzen, so if you want me to come with you, answer me this: What can you offer me, that I don't already have here?" At this, I smirked. Smart girl, this one was; she definitely had no problem catching my attention. She reminded me of myself, really, and I mean, who wouldn't like me? So why wouldn't I like her? A perfect match, we were.
Before replying, I took the time to admire her features (( I guessed she was probably admiring my features too, 'cause, duh, who wouldn't? )) and found my eyes resting on her chest. "O.M.G. Girl, I have some nail polish that would totally match that red on your pelt. I mean, even you beautiful Ahzenai gotta keep it fresh, right?" I gave her a wink, my personality clearly just as bold as hers. Only after I said this did I remember her question, and, finding that I didn't really have a reply prepared, decided it was the best I could do to wing it.
"Err, okay. Well, obviously you can't find a very sanitary place here, but you can find it with me. See, at my house, we have three maids, one for each level of the house, so you'll find a clean house everywhere you go. Plus, how would you find shopping malls in this place? Obviously you wouldn't, so obviously you wouldn't find any products to keep that pelt shiny. But by comming with me, you'll see aisle upon aisle of all kinds of things for you. Grooming supplies, toys, and even special shampoos in case of fleas or ticks. Surely you wouldn't want to have to sit here scratching bugs in your pelt all day?" I, personally, found this thought absolutely horrifying, not to mention disgusting. Like, seriously, bugs? Worst. Nightmare. Ever.
"More than that, I can buy you anything! You want a big comfy bed to sleep in at night, its all yours! Plus a designer comforter, no doubt." My eyes were shining at these thoughts, bright as the red of Adethea's chest and eyes. "And girl, trust me, you would get sooo pampered! I know the best stylists around; the could make that coat shine like a ruby! Speaking of rubies," Mystery in my eyes, I bounced over to the nailpolish beside my stray purse. Turning back to face Adethea, I gave a big, perfect smile. "This color goes perfect with that chest of yours, and your eyes! I can paint your claws if you want." I waggled the bottle a bit in my fingers, the aluring color shining bright in the dim light of the cavern.
Flipping my har back again, I shrugged. "Well, its all up to you I guess. Pampered to the fullest and finest luxury, or... Well, whatever they have to offer." I waved my hand to the side to indicate the other woo-ers whom stood a little ways off. With that, I walked off to the edge of the cavern, purse in hand and brush going through my hair. Leaning back against the cave wall ((I know, so gross, right?! )) I pulled up my purse, grabbing my several cards(( Debit, visa, you name it )), waving them in front of me like I fan, as if to back up my statements on how pampered she'd be. Ah, yes, she'd surely win a life of luxury with me.
