not so much a companion as a contracted familiar, at her beck and call is what can most closely be considered a will-o-wisp. it hides in her shadow or within a lantern that hangs from her harness most times. in this "dormant" state it is not typically seen by the naked eye. cheeky as it is, however, it enjoys appearing before others. this "active" state appears rather chimeric.
it's body is long and slender, though not long enough to wrap nose to tail around Alwyn's neck(much to it's dismay). each of it's six legs end in small, bird-like feet with no talons or claws to be seen. atop it's arrow-shaped head rests small, angular ears. it's brimstone eyes are small and almond-shaped, lacking in an visible iris or pupil.
most notable is it's pitch-black and wispy silhouette like that of wildfire smoke. it has a largely-solid form which trails and fades in an undulating fashion half way down the tail. it has no visible mouth yet is perfectly capable of holding a conversation.

Actually multiple companions technically, as Greg keeps his family safe from predators and the fungus that plagues his species by having them ride along Eurydice's back; she enjoys hearing the choir of ribbits as they enjoy the nighttime air and eat all the annoying gnats, flies and mosquitos.

Tibu is a yellow creature resembling a bipedal platypus of sorts. On top of its head are three thick strands of black hair, and it has a wide, flat cream-colored beak. The eyes seem vacant and have tiny pupils. Its legs and tail are stubby, and it has cream-colored webbed feet. There are three claws on each of its hands. In height, its on the short side at just 2ft. Being roughly 45lbs, you could call em plumpy. Poor thing seems to always have a Headache and sometimes weird stuff happens.
