Awkwardly jumping of the highrock, Foxpaw dashed after her mentor. She grinned as they headed toward former Riverclan territory, almost unable to contain her excitement. She waved her tail happily, she was going to catch the biggest fish in the river.

As they approached Riverclan's old territory, Dawnfire turned to her apprentice, "Do you remember the tecniques I taught you last time?" she asked.

Griffinpaw looked around camp, desperately wanting to train with his mentor. Rushing over to her den, he stood in the entrance and mewed, "Flamestar?" When there was no reply, he moved away to look around some more.

Fireflower slowly padded into the Medicine Cat Den. When she saw the Medicine Cat, she smiled. "Hello, Wolfpaw. I got this thorn stuck in my paw, and was wondering, could you help me when you're done wiht Darkfang?"

Wolfpaw laughed and dipped his head to Darkfang. "Thank you." He said before turning to Fireflower. "Hello Fireflower, I'd love to help you. Would you lift up your paw for me please?" He moved to sit infront of Fireflower. "How long has it been in? If it's in there for too long, it may get infected."

Foxpaw nodded swiftly. "Yeah! You just have to sit and wait for a fish, then grab it out of the water...or something like that." She laughed nervously, slightly embarrassed she forgot.

Dawnfire laughed, "Now I guess we'll have to go through it again. No worries!" she said. As they reached the river, she found herself diving into the water in one smooth movement. She came up clumsily with a fish in her mouth. Laying on the pebbly shoreline, she heaved herself out of the water and killed the fish she had caught. Then she turned to Foxpaw, "Your turn." she meowed.

Blackbird shook her head. "If your lucky" she answered. "Frogs, lizards, snakes, rats, birds and if your lucky you can catch a small fish in the stream." she said. "Though the water is murky and they are hard to see"

[Swishy & Broken]

Unka,Talo, Kana , And Rara go out for hunting. BloodStrike sit and listen to the forest. Snarlthorn look at the sky. Eve sit in the nursury, bored. Hollyleaf sort herbs and stops somthimes to test her apprentices skills.

Foxpaw went over to the river and stared curiously at it. She went to mimic Dawnfire, but ended up slipping in the water. She yowled in surprise as she landed on her side and her head sunk under water.

Talo found and giggled. " need help", she offer.

Dawnfire grabbed Foxpaw's scruff and heaved her out of the water, "Careful!" she exclaimed with a muffled voice. She looked her apprentice over to make sure she hadn't injured herself. When she was sure she wasn't she said, "Watch me." and demonstrated the way to catch fish without getting in the water. "You must lash out where you think the fish will be, not where it is." she explained.

Fireflower paused, thinking. "I think it's been in there for a couple days. It hurts a bit if I put pressure on it. It was worse the day I got it. Also, my kit has been coughing lately. Do you know if that's bad or not?" She lifted her paw obediantly.

Foxpaw shook out her fur as she watched her mentor. After watching closly, Foxpaw stood at the river's edge. She coppied Dawnfire, but missed the fish. "Mouse-dung." She cursed, continuing to try. After a couple more misses, she groaned. "Why is fish catching so hard?" She complained as she sat down, taking a little brake.

Wolfpaw flicked his ear in surprise. A couple days?! Why didn't she come to get it out earlier. Sniffing her pad, he licked it a few times before grasping the thorn and swiftly tugging it out. "I don't know if something's wrong with your kit unless you bring her here. While you're going to get her, focus on your pad. I want to know if it stings of burns." He said, spitting out the thorn.
