a few days into the festivities a rather bold colored sima comes into view. many primals gather around them and seem to be giving them gifts? the sima looks to you almost expectantly.

it seems this sima wants you to give them an offering. what do you offer?

What gift do you give them!:
A rough, yet sheep-like Sima has been hanging around the event area, watching the brightly colored alpha primal and their entourage from afar. After a while, having seen enough, she boldly makes her way through the crowd, tail swaying behind her.
Shay approaches Adrastos before extending a paw. “I give to you my heart.” Is she trying to woo them?? “I give you my devotion and companionship, that we will walk beside each other for the rest of our days. I give you a friend that will not abandon you, no matter what.” Oh, no, this goes beyond flirting or proposing. Shay seems entirely genuine in her bold declaration and is talking about the most deep and true friendship. She holds her head up and shakes her mane before giving them a smile. “I give you something that they’ve never offered,” she gestures to the other Simas, “something better than food or jewels.” Then she pauses and tilts her head, “The only question is, will you take it?”

The deep red seeps into the cloth. It glitters like a cluster of rubies, so tantalizing yet unsettling. Like it held otherly powers mortals won't understand.

There sits a platter of pomegranates, some ripped open, some left whole.

"Please Adonis, accept my offering and bless my family."

The voice small yet unwavering.

Legend passed through the ages sang about a sima, red like the bird of happiness and prosperity. Offering him the fruits of red jewels will bring unbridled joy and fertility to the village.

The villager looks up to the sima clad in red expectantly and places the offering on the shrine. The love of his life, his wife, has been wishing to start a family. He bows one more time before heading back into the village.

Adonis watches closely as the villager's figure disappears into the distance.

"Your devotion is felt. May your family experience prosperity and vibrancy."

What gift do you give them!: A small, worn but well loved plush is pushed forward. At one time, it may have resembled a black and white spaniel. The poor thing has many stitches lose, an eye coming off, clumps of stuffing exposed, and a few stains. It has seen much, and has carried with it a lot of love. "Their name is Scruffy. They have a lot of love to give still, I think. Will you carry her with you?"

Liz looks around at the gathered primals, then at the alpha. She thinks for a bit, and then makes her decision. Suddenly, a metal chain-like bracelet appears in her claws and she whispers a few words. She approaches the alpha and bows, a shallow thing, then presents her gift.

"I give you the gift of knowledge and understanding," she says. "This bracelet, when worn, will allow you to understand every language around you with ease. Even if the bracelet breaks, it will still work as the charm is attached to the metal itself, not the concept of the bracelet." She smiles, a little grin that just barely shows her teeth. "I've traveled far and wide and found that knowing the local language is one of the most important things to know. It opens so many doors and can help prevent so many problems." She pauses for a moment, then continues. "Perhaps a little later, I can share more about my travels with you? I might even be persuaded to part with a few things I've collected," she says with a chuckle. "What do you say?"

What gift do you give them!:

A young kit came forward, her shaggy hair so completely obscuring her eyes that several onlookers doubtless wondered how she didn't trip and send flying the golden jar she carried. Yet her steps were sure and quick. As she reached the Alpha, she stopped and nervously looked back over her shoulder. From the crowd, a thin, pale Sima with similarly messy hair grinned and gave her a "thumbs up" sign. Thus reassured, she faced the Alpha and held up her jar.

"Hello ma'm. My name is Bindi, and we've been having fun at your tribe's fe... fest.. festabib... uh. Party." The kit shuffled her feet. "My mum makes honey... or.. her BEES make honey... and we thought it'd be nice to give you some as a thank-yous."

As she held up the jar for the Alpha to see, she smiled. "It's got a chunk of comb in, see? And you can eat it by itself or put it in tea or on toast or..."

What followed was a several minute long excited ramble by the child of a bee-keeper on the various merits of (and uses for) her family's natural honey. Her father looked on with great amusement, ready to gently cut her off should the Alpha start to look annoyed.

"...And anyway, if you ever want to you can drop by to visit and we'll give you MORE!"
