She puts on her favorite tunes and does chores around the house, singing like nobody’s watching. As the sun starts to set she gathers some timber for a small bonfire, inviting her best friends over to enjoy. She’ll grill up some food while the others pass around marshmallows for s’mores. Together they sing and play games around the fire, for hours. Soon the fire starts to die out and she waves her friends goodbye. In the peace of the night she watches as fireflies float by, their glow gently cutting through the darkness. After the day ticks anew she heads inside to work on some projects, currently crocheting some little stuffies for her friends. And once the sun starts to make its appearance over the sleeping world she tucks into bed. Tomorrow she’s goes back to the grind of everyday life but today. Today was perfect, as she drifts off to sleep.
