An arctic type of dog, they are double-coated with insulating fur to help them during the harsh cold of Alaskan winters. Athletic in build they are made for speed and endurance, pulling heavy weighted sleds for miles. With a happy temperament, they are a very social dog that enjoys both canine and human interaction. They can be stubborn but are very smart and should start training as early as possible.
