First Show;Freezee had been trained many tricks and commands by her owners and their kids. She alongside some others have been for the past months the most focused on to train for liberty shows. It was just half a year ago when the team had started working together. When the team would struggle to work together and the team moves amazingly together and move as a team.
One morning all of the owners were hustling around and gathering all of the liberty tack and equipment. While they did this, the kids gathered the Galingale Striders and started practicing some liberty work with the Strider team. The team is currently small for liberty work, but is said the team is to grow as the team improved. At the time the team is only a team of three. The current team being
Freezee,
Kate and
Alabaster. After a good practice, the children walked the three to the trailers for the adults to load up for the long road trip to their first big show as a liberty team! After a few more minutes, the team of three, owners and children all got in the vehicle that pulled the trailered team.
After a few hours on the road, the team were finally unloaded and released into a paddock with just the team of three. Until the show was about to start, Freezee constantly was socializing with all of the other Galingale Striders in other paddocks, the passed by or that were tied up to her paddock over the neck couple hours. Soon enough the owners had return to get the team grommed and dressed for their first liberty show! Freezee perked up and looked at all the audience waiting for the next show. The adults removed the lead ropes from the Galingale Striders and let the children run to the center of the ring with the team of Galingale Striders following behind. The adults stood to the side and allowed the children to start the show.
Each Strider had followed a child to the center of the ring. The team all line up and bow to the crowd then in single file they start to job around the ring. The children then grabbing hold of the tack within the striders and kicking themselves into the air and doing flips over the striders backs and over to hit the ground and bounce flipping back over to the other side again. Two of the children head back to center while one lead the three. The three lined up side by side and followed the little girl around the ring. They continued doing tricks and following the girl's cues and instructions given. Near the end of the show, the adults joined in for the finale before wrapping up and letting the next team start their show. The team take a bow and exits the ring with roaring crowds who enjoyed the show.
The team, adults and children stayed to watch the next team from backstage before walking the striders back to their paddock for a break. After half an hour, the entire show event has come to an end, and is ready for all the teams to return to hear their placings for this show event. After another half hour had gone by, the team had won a 2nd place trophy out of ten teams. After a few more hours, it was time to hit the road again for the long trip back home.
