prompt: It was actually a completely accidental abandonment. This little guy was being transported to an exotic livestock auction with a bigger herd of zebras and they stopped for a quick check over and feed/water break. Curious about the world outside of the same old herd, Quivy snuck off the trailer to take a quick peek. He crept away, and while he sure got to take a good look around, when he went back, the trailer was nowhere to be found. Luckily he was discovered soon after by a good samaritan and was taken in by someone who knows the care of the species very well.

Prompt: Cookie was born later than the other foals, in the middle of her herd moving to a new home. Cookie was too young and couldn’t keep up with the others properly… and though her mother tried to get the others to wait, they wouldn’t listen. Not wanting to be left out in the open alone, herself, Cookie’s mother made the hard decision and left her outside of a nearby sanctuary, where she would at least be safe from predators. The sanctuary took her in after that, and she’s been there ever since, with a small herd that adores her.

Adah was rejected by her mother at birth. Its not really known why but suspected that it was due to high stress at the time of her birth. The herem was under pressure by two brother lions that'd wandered onto the reseve she was born at. Despite Adah trying to bond with her mother she would often be kicked away and refused to let her nurse. She wandered within the harem for a few days before the reserve intervened. She was taken in and raised by a horse mare who'd lost her foal. Human interaction was limited in hopes she'd be able to be relocated to a new harem to help diverse the bloodlines.
