Reason: It is the Italian form of the Roman name Frigidianus, which was derived from Latin frigidus meaning cold. I looked up names meaning ice and cold because of his icy blue eyes, but this name stood out because I like that his nickname could be Fred. I can imagine him walking up to someone, looking all regal and handsome, and going, "Hi. I'm Fred."

Reason: When I was a kid there was a horse I worked with for a while, poor guy was very skittish and was never worked with before, and possibly had some sort of old injury because he held his head with an odd tilt, but he was incredibly beautiful, he was a bay paint with a perfect thunderbolt on the left side of his neck. I worked with him for about 6 months before my mother resold him, but he was very sweet and I hope he is still doing well.
Also in alignment of my naming theme I have decided there is a very pretty plant called the lighting plant
