Where he would live:

He would thrive in a more mountainous region, somewhere that doesn't reach extreme heats. Where summers still have the cool dew mornings that are typical of early spring. The yearly heavy snowfall wouldn't be unexpected or unwelcome, and would actually be something Rivorndir enjoys a great deal. He's not meant for warm weather, and would be able to admire the way the snow and ice glisten with the rising sun.

Name: Ray
Where he would live: He likes a nice calming biome. He dreams of a thick, green, luscious meadow. He would have a small stable right on the edge of a forest looking out to the meadow, the area would be surrounded by close cliffs almost like a bowl, but it would open up to a private beach. A river would run from the cliffs via a waterfall into the meadow where there would be a small lake that leads off the the sea. Behind the waterfall is a small cave.

His stable would be full of bouncy wood shavings, and in the meadow, many type of yumming flowers, berrys and various grasses.

Name: hawke
Where he would live: hawke was always an explorer, even as a young colt. in his youth, he discovered cave systems deep within the snowy mountains his herd inhabited. he would sneak out at dusk, marking the caves he explored by smudging dirt along their entrances. after a few months of exploration, he found a tunnel that expanded into a beautiful cavern filled with litchen and moss. the cave contained the friggid temperatures of the mountain he so adored, while also featuring the most exquisite hot springs to warm him when the cold bit too much. it is his absolute favorite place in the world. if he could spend every waking moment there, he would. he has since been brought to a nearby village, and while he is well fed and cared for, he would give anything to return to his special cave.

Name: Ambrose
Where he would live:
Ambrose has two central criteria for where he'd like to live;
1) It has to be on the coast. Sandy or rocky, cold or warm — nothing compares to the feeling of a marine breeze through his mane, carrying the clear scent of salt. Ambrose can never tire from the sound of water lapping against the shore. The open water always seems to have a personality and will of its own — calm one moment, tempestous the next — that Ambrose finds captivating to watch. That's all to say nothing of all the delightful and odd little creatures he could meet!
2) It has to have ruins. Ambrose has seen plenty of human structures, but old stone ruins enchant him; its like seeing the tracks of a long-gone great beast. What stories did old foundations bear, now lost to time? They intwine mystery with a bittersweet grief. It's all terribly romantic. And if a not so small part of him wants to stand broodingly against a backdrop of crumbling walls and crashing waves as he stares out dramatically into the horizon well... who can blame him?
Finding a place with both is, of course, tricky. He'd likely have to contend with the odd human or two or twenty poking about occasionaly, and his friends like to jokingly tease about what he'd do for shelter once the ruin falls down... but the heart wants what it wants.

Name: Intrigue
Where he would live: Intrigue dreams of living in a space station. He is easily overwhelmed and takes comfort in the night sky full of stars. He likes the relaxing predictability of the phases of the moon and the tiny incremental movement of the stars each night. Practical or not, he can't think of anything better than to be surrounded by those stars, floating quietly in the dark vast space.

Name: Odin
Where he would live: as basic as it might be for an equid, Odin has always loved the mountains. he was born and raised there, and he likes the clear alpine air and its relatively remote nature - especially because there is little chance of running into humans. when Odin struck out on his own he found the perfect mountainous region - plenty of vegetation to consume, few predators, a clear and gorgeous stream to drink from - he was elated. the only nearby human settlement had been abandoned for some time. until it wasn't. recently, some humans have moved back in and started using the structures as a stables. despite his desire for solitude, Odin moved a little closer to the stables, feeling himself in charge of the safety of all equines there. he'd heard enough horror stories about their treatment at the hands of humans to worry. and then the stable received an equid, and Odin forced himself ever closer to keep an eye on this new stallion to make sure he was safe. while he longs for his mountainous solitude, he feels he has a duty to watch over the safety of others, and now stays in the foothills of the mountains to carry out this duty.

Name: Midas
Where he would live: There is no place befitting a Stallion such as he than a palace. A palace of gold, who's intricaies could never be matched. Where golden leaves twirled upon the pillars of his King like abode. It is a place befitting a King even, where every whim he fancies is fulfilled and golden apples are served on golden plates. Surely, all of this and more is what he deserves, after all. His bed would be made of only the finest silks and his blankets he wears just as magnificent (and of course in gold).

Congratulations! I love black and gold combinations so this seems like a fantastic place to live.
