It took her awhile to get ready. This girl is based on dark love and thus to apply for her name a book you have read that shows forbidden or the fantasy love and list why it stuck with you.
Make sure to keep it CS AppropriateShe must remain domesticated due to the cut mane.

Name of Book: the throne of glass series
Reason why it stuck with you: this series was devastatingly beautiful. love, politics, fantasy, justice. boss women doing boss women things!! words cannot describe how much this series affected me! It shows the struggles of women transcend genre. the relationships between friends are gut-wrenchingly wonderful. it covers the loss of love due to circumstance and death. it shows love for ones people/land, for their partner, and for their companions. Without spoiling anything, the side character love stories are my absolute favorite. there are enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, lovers to friends, slow burns, and more. it is so wonderfully written that i read all eight books in the span of like a week and a half.

--Name of Book: The Shadow & Bone Trilogy
Reason why it stuck with you: spoiler warning for anyone seeking to read the books or watch the show! (if you watched the show only tho... pls read the books the darkling is a much more compelling character in the books)
the love displayed in shadow & bone goes through many phases. passion, desire, agony... you get glimpses of it all. what really struck me, and stuck with me, all these years later... the dichotomy between the would-be-hero turned antagonist, the darkling, and the saint he picked from the ashes, alina. their relationship is tumultuous from the start. alina is seventeen when she first meets the darkling - who you discover later on is at least 400 years old, as any grisha (one who possesses supernatural powers) with a great amount of power will live a longer life, and the darkling is the most powerful of all. he, unlike the other grisha in the world, is gifted with the power of darkness. alina, with the power of light. the darkling had been searching for a grisha of light for centuries, desperately hoping for someone who could help him save his people and his country. somewhere along the way, though, he lost touch with his humanity, and sought salvation through subjugation. when alina realizes he is seeking her to use her as a means of wiping out the humans who had hunted him and their people for thousands of years, she balks. there is a JUICY dynamic of the darkling as a "saint" versus a human, and alina as a human versus a "saint." i can say with great certainty that there was love between them - the darkling loved sankt alina, but alina loved the man behind the moniker: aleksander morozova, the boy who had been conditioned since infancy to loathe and despise the people unlike him. in the end, he dies in her arms. and with his final breath he asks her to burn her body, so that the people cannot use his bones as tokens of power. and she does.

Reason why it stuck with you: This was the very first book i remember checking out of a library, and i honestly believe this book is why i have the love and passion for animals i do so much to this day, this made my little brain understand they may not be able to talk but body language shows in everything

Name of Book: The School For Good And Evil
Reason why it stuck with you: The story is primarily about fairy tails; and of course has the "girl pines over prince" scenario inside, however, in the end it is best friend love that wins overall, instead of the traditional trope. It was very generic to start, but quickly gained favor points with me for the way it told the origins of fairytails, and how the characters were really brought to life inside. Its stuck with me for so long that even though i finished reading the 8 book series only a few months ago, im very tempted to dive in again!

Name of Book: Eragon
Reason why it stuck with you: Technically not a love story, but Eragon's obsession with Arya is a theme through the Inheritance Cycle series and it's always stuck with me. Through the series he's frequently scolded and confronted by others about his fantasized idea of her, and his inability to let his feelings go despite her many rejections of him. In the first book, Eragon rescues her and is immediately smitten with her, though he's only dreamed of her before, and when he first rescues her she's unconscious for days. She's an elf and he's human, so it makes sense that he would be enthralled, but he frequently makes her uncomfortable with his feelings through the series. They eventually become friends, but even at the end, it's clear he still has feelings for her and hints at them before they part ways. I think what's always been a question in my mind if whether he actually loves her or if most of the other characters in the books are correct, and he's only in love with fantasized idea of her. I definitely resonate with Arya, i don't think I could live up to someone's unreal, idealized expectations.
very sick, dm/pm if I forgot something.

Name of Book: The Siren of Sussex
Reason why it stuck with you:
Not exactly forbidden love but unfavorable for the setting since it is about a Victorian woman who is trying to marry to make sure her family is set despite she herself doesn’t have much interest in it let alone the men available until one she’s not supposed to be into due to social norms and that he’s half-immigrant and not of status etc.
The reason the book stuck with me and why I want to read the others in the series actually isn’t related to the romance plot though it was a very enjoyable read, it’s rather that two major aspects in the main characters’ lives was both tailoring and equestrianism which happen to be particular interests of mine as well and the author clearly knew something about each of them, which I especially appreciated. The other books in the series follow the other girls the main character from this book meets while riding as they finish their stories on the quest to find love and settle down etc.
[dunno if this entire counts for the prompt but my options were The Siren of Sussex or The Love Hypothesis cuz romance isn’t one I read much really]

Name of Book: Othello
Reason why it stuck with you:
Othello is one of those plays that gets into your head and never leaves. Iago is a model villain, able to manipulate Othello into ruining his love with Desdemona. Their love story is tragic, starting as a secret marriage forbidden by Desdemona's father, who believes Othello is a "thing" who only wooed Desdemona through witchcraft. Though Desdemona is able to prove their marriage and love is true, Othello and Desdemona are not happy for long. Iago's interference turns Othello into the monster others say he is for a brief moment, and in that moment, he loses everything.
I personally acted in a production of Othello that featured all actors of color. Usually, Othello is the only role played by a non-white actor, as that role is the only one written to be a different race. The different dynamics created by this production's cast solidified Othello as a piece of work I'll always value.

Name of Book: Kazan
Reason why it stuck with you: Kazan and Grey Wolf's love story is a tragic and striking story of a forbidden love of a dog and a wolf. Being raised as a dog his entire life, it is not an easy struggle for Kazan to leave his home, he is torn between his dog part driving him back to the warm house and humans he likes, but his love for Grey Wolf keeps leading him back to the forest. Neither Kazan can join the wolf pack due to his dog smell and behavior, nor Grey Wolf can possibly come to the humans who would just shoot her on sight, their forbidden love makes them two outcasts against the whole world. At the exact moment a lynx attacks their den and Grey Wolf is left blind, Kazan's humans decide to move away, and that is the moment Kazan has to make his choice. He chooses his now blind mate, who needs him and waits for him on the river bank as the ship his humans are leaving on is sailing away - this is the moment that is most memorable for me in the entire book.

Name of Book: Vampire Diaries
Reason why it stuck with you: I adore the enemys to lovers part with Damon Salvator and Elena Gilbert, the grim love between Caroline and Tyler and ontop the love of Friendship through any heardships between the two friends Elena and Bonnie the Witch. I just adore everything about it. And it's about Vampire's, Werewolfs and Magic. What's not to like about fantasy?
