Oklahoma, a mare with a perpetually curious nose, twitched her ears. A monstrous, red sphere had materialized in her paddock. It dwarfed the water trough and nearly reached the fence. She cautiously approached, snorting a puff of air that ruffled her forelock. Gingerly extending her neck, sniffing the smooth surface. It smelled faintly of rubber and something…new. She nudged it with her nose. It rolled slightly, a slow, ponderous movement that made her jump back. Her eyes widened, and she let out a nervous whinny. She circled the ball, her hooves clicking on the dry earth. A playful buck sent her heels into the air, and she landed with a snort, her tail swishing. Emboldened, she gave the ball a more forceful shove with her shoulder. It rolled further this time. Oklahoma, surprised and delighted, chased after it, a newfound plaything in her once predictable world.

She’d stand and snort a few times before taking a few steps twords the ball continuing to snort and lower her head to sniff it. Once at the ball she would probably hit it a few times with her nose but as soon as it moved she would proceed to quickly spin around and kick at it while running away snorting before continuing this whole process over again lol

Ragnar is a stallion who is protective of his herds. As soon as this new item (or creature) was thrown into his field, he would first drive his herd away from it to the opposite side of the field. He then would start posturing/threatening the item, squealing, rearing, pawing, with his ears flat against his head. When Ragnar sees that this creature isn't threatened, he would charge at it, ramming into it... only to see the ball bounce and roll away. Satisfied that he defeated this foe, Ragnar would return to his mares, keeping them to the other side of the field from the ball. The entire time though, he would be eyeing it, making sure it didn't dare to try and approach them.
