this kiddo was found roaming the streets, and seemed more then excited to be brought back to the shelter for a much needed bath - which they absolutely loved. this pup has boundless energy and a love for all things aquatic.

Prompt: Kayaking with her owner, she always loved going down to the lake with them to splash around in the water while they cooked, or read, or drew/painted, or swam with her. One day they went down with some friends, who brought kayaks to go out while her owner fired up the grill. She was immediately captivated by them and instead of doing a few laps around the lake, like her owners friends intended, they spent the afternoon helping her figure out how to stand/sit in them and keep her balance.
The next weekend her owner went out and got their own kayak and now they go out as often as they can. She still loves splashing around in the shallows, but now whenever she sees the kayak they can barely get her to sit still long enough to put on her life vest before she's jumping in

uh, bath time, duh! why do you think she was so excited about it when she was first found? don’t get marin wrong, she adores all sorts of water-based activities. from helping her human partner fish, to swimming around in the pool, to diving for toys, to even surfing or boating— it’s all up her alley. but at the end of the day, the lake and ocean waters are gross, and pool water isn’t much better at all! if she’s on dry land, she demands to be properly clean. she has a reputation to uphold, of beauty and not having gross fur when the time for pets comes!

and anyways, bath time means marin gets aaaaall the attention she could ever want. afterwards she’s given treats for being so well-behaved about it, too. even if she does absolutely soak her human jumping up in her excitement for affection. he doesn’t mind it, or else he wouldn’t be in the water all day just like her, hm?

Prompt: Favourite water-based... activity? Does that mean you can do things with water, and not just against water? Shadow doesn't believe you, he is a fighter and water is a terrible enemy that must be defeated. This thing (water) sticks everywhere and takes ages to dry out. And that is reason enough to proclaim it enemy number one. As soon as he sees water, whether it is a big pool or a puddle, Shadow jumps into it, biting, jumping, snapping, etc. Yes, yes, he has a great time, but for sure that wet, sticky thing is not happy about it, no sir! Water, be ready. Your days are numbered.

Nessi gets to join her Mom on these special trips at night and helps keep the baby turtles safe and protected. Nessi takes her job very seriously and scares off any animals thinking the baby turtles might be a quick snack. After making sure all the turtles make their way from nest to ocean, Nessi enjoys taking a dip in the cool water under the moonlight. It's a well deserved relaxation after such a good night's work saving baby sea turtles!
