Prompt: Piha Mahina is nocturnal by their very nature, often they will never see the sun for weeks or months at a time. They often don't travel much at all, preferring to gaze down at their kind from their high home on the mountain. However on the occasion they do take to the sands to explore the lower areas of the Isle they wear a shimmering shawl of the darkest blue with glittering sparkles that almost look like stars. With this cloak of seemingly captured Night and Starlight covering their body pooling at their neck they explore with no fear that staying out long enough the sun will rise will leave them suffering much pain, for all they need to do is pull up the cloak to cover their head and they will be completely covered.

With this dark cloak that protects their skin and despite it's shininess absorbs most of the sun preventing it from reflecting off their eyes they will wander the sands of the beach safely knowing they will be protected.

Prompt: When Wolfbreeze has to be outside to gather food or supplies, she likes to make a sun hat of sorts using lightweight woven vines and broad leaves. Otherwise she spends most of her time outside during the dawn and dusk hours and on cloudy days. Her clan mates are sympathetic to her condition and always allow her to make the call whether or not she is comfortable with the heat.

It's hard not being able to sunbathe with the rest of the clan on those hazy, Greenleaf days. Sometimes Wolfbreeze wishes she was different. That she was normal. It was her father who helped her break free from that mindset. He taught her how to weave her first hat actually, and always encouraged her to not compare herself to other cats by what they can or can not do, but how they do it. There are always multiple roads to the same destination, he would say. Whether its hunting or fighting magic beasts, the way Wolfbreeze does it is just as helpful as any other cat in the clan. Thinking back on his words helps ease the pain she feels, and she knows that she can't let it go more than skin-deep.

Prompt: Once leaving the kitting den, NoxOculus quickly learned he did best on dreary days. Under cloud-filled skies or drizzling rain the outside didn't hurt so bad. While the area gets a decent amount of rain, it still really limited the days he could be active outside the den. He'd have to choose between being left behind in the den or going out in the sun, which meant squinting all day and having unending headaches.
His worst experience by far was his first sunny day after a snowfall. The light was incredibly painful. The world was so bright he slammed his eyes shut and wouldn't leave the cave until nightfall. Despite it being one of his worst days, it turned into a positive in the end. Because he had stayed inside all day, he emerged after the sun went down and discovered a totally different world. The sun was down but it was still bright enough to easily see due to the light reflecting off the snow. This light was subtle and gentle though, nothing like the harsh daylight from earlier.
Now his favorite time of year is the snowy season where he gets to patrol, watch, guard, and hunt in the snow, all aided by his perfectly matched coat. He feels like he's in his own world as he sits in the hushed quiet. The rest of the year, he still sticks to night schedules or the occasional day patrol when it's cloudy. Even without the snow, he can see plenty well at night.
He's taken on a guardian role for the clan. Occasionally hunting if the clan needs it but otherwise patrolling and guarding, especially close to the homesite, while the rest get to sleep in peace. The clan truly appreciates having their night watcher protecting them in the night so that the clan can sleep loudly. They still interact with him plenty in the dens and during the transitional times just before/after sunrise/sunset as well as cloudy days.
After a few different iterations, the clan healer devised a special piece of equipment to help NoxOculus when he does have (or want) to be out in the daylight. It rests over his eyes with a narrow horizontal slit across his vison. It blocks most of the light and shades his eyes but still allows him to see. He still prefers the night watch, but he really appreciated the gesture and can now come out more often to participate in clan activities that happen during the day.

In consequence of Gyrfalcon's role within the clan - namely as messenger between colonies and traveller/merchant - alongside the various complications that come with being an albino, he often dons long cloths fashioned into a cape with a hood (provided by the soft-hearted, and one that has long since bronzed), the eyeprotection of sheer fabric (found and weaved into a veil-esk design by Myna), and a bag utilized to gather supplies to trade for every venture beyond Astron territory.

The attire, without the bag as I ran out of time, is linked below. There is also one without the attire, as I am rather proud of the anatomy. Apologies for the messy coloring of the fabric, in addition to any fold inaccuracies and the lack thereof in folds for the veil.

Considering his multi-duty tasks, Anemonetide sat as guard for the night, enjoying the salty wind and setting sun. His eyes stung from it's light but the fact it was fading allowed him to relax as he carried out his duties. Ever since he had run off from his kittypet life and joined OceanClan, they've accepted his weakness to light- instead of complaining or worrying about his use, they offered him a solution. During the day when it was too harsh outside for him, Anemonetide would remain inside and watch over the next generations of OceanClan, teaching them the ways of the Clan and offering them fun stories to which they could listen to.

At night, every few days, to allow him some fresh air and a job to do, he would sit guard of OceanClan entrance to be left alone with his thoughts or another cat to keep him company. Even if it wasn't his shift, the moon's glittering surface never caused him discomfort or pain and allowed him to be guided in the dead of night if he so chose to go for a short hunt. Of course, at times Anemonetide felt distanced from others but he felt his life was perfect the way it was. He's trusted to look after the kits of the clan and guard the safety of his clanmates from trespassers or any other sort of possible threat. Anemonetide wants to be useful and important among his working clan members, if this was how, he was simply happy to help.
