This pup is quite the escape artist and their owners have spent hours, sometimes multiple times a week, patrolling their neighborhood looking for them. They were surrendered as their owners developed compassion fatigue having to chase them down all the time, still unable to figure out how they were escaping the yard, they didn't want the pup's care to suffer and are hoping an owner with more patience will take them into a loving, and perhaps more secure home.

Prompt: Wynona is a sneaky little one she's figured out several different ways to get out of her yard, which is what's made it so hard for her previous owners to keep her in. She can easily wiggle through the space between the fence posts and she's gotten good at digging long tunnels under the fence where her owners had a hard time finding where they lead... and to make matters even worse she has even learned how to hop the fence entirely something her owners didn't think she could do (Inspired by my own escape artists tricks!)

Escaping? Oh thats easy.

Her family's garden is full of things from taller shrubs, to a bird bath, to benches and other things.
She had tried the tall shrubs but ended up getting stuck once or twice, or breaking the flimsy limbs. Tried the bench but couldn't get just over the fence. Even their previously small and oddly shaped gate has been adjusted to be closer to the ground to keep her from escaping.

Now. The bird bath- its close to (obviously) the flowers meant for the local hummingbirds to sip from, but its also next to a small tree.

Having already knocked the bird bath over previously, they have stabilized it to keep it from tipping over. Perfect ledge for jumping from. The tree has some rocks around it, too small to use but make the tree more stable. Now being how small she is, she isn't worried about breaking limbs. And even if she does, trees break limbs all the time! Certainly not her doing this!

When the hedges are trimmed around their smaller than average fence, they're shorter than the fence but still square-shaped, making them more likely to hold her weight than fall. This is the most perfect ledge to manage to jump to before her grand escape.

Now they have seen her on the hedges before, but haven't quite put together the escape route.. at least yet. She knows they might eventually.

Prompt: The first and most obvious jailbreak was being left alone in the yard a little too long, like most dogs the first way to get out of the yard was digging underneath the old fence that had seen better days anyway. The hole was filled in and Marshmallow chastised, but the behavior continued, the tiny dog digging the smallest hole and slipping out whenever she wanted to get out. Each hole was filled in and something placed over the hole to keep it from being dug up again, until almost the entire fence was lined with heavy garden pots and other farm instruments. When they got around to it, her parents just ripped up that old fence and replaced it with one that went deep into the ground, several feet deep, too deep for a tiny dog like herself to reasonably dig under. For awhile, this solved her escapades and she stayed in the yard. It was almost like she deliberately waited for the humans to let their guards down again about leaving her in the yard by herself for awhile, when she began to scale the fence, scratching and clinging her way up the wood until she was out and over the very top. One of her humans witnessed her climb the fence and right now the entire family is at a loss as to what to do to keep this silly baby in the safety of the family's fences and yards.

Prompt: Roquefort's previous people had suspected a handful of means that he could be escaping. His ventures around the street helped them to discover a loose board in their fence, but that wasn't how their pup was escaping their yard. They found that the Post Man had repeatedly left the front gate open upon dropping off their mail, but that wasn't how Roquefort was escaping either. They thought perhaps he was managing to hop onto their bin cubby, so they deconstructed it and moved it to a different area of their yard and yet he still got out.
The little pup climbed into the window, where he pushed loose the insect netting and hopped down into the flower bed below. Even when the front gate was open, the smart pup chose the less obvious route. At the back of the yard is a raised vegetable bed, that Roquefort managed to squeeze behind and wiggle through the hedgehog tunnel that was installed by the house's previous owners!
