they don’t have it anymore, it was lost one day while exploring around the tidepools they live near, and they’ve been searching for it ever since.
the chances of it being taken away by the tide are extremely high, but it was given to them by their grandpa; who had always been there for them no matter what, up until he had passed away.
Lapis stays hoping they’ll see it roll up on the beach, sparkling in the sunlight and catching their eye.
they wished for fins to search the sea floor, but alas, they stay hoping ever-more.

prized posession: A pressed periwinkle flower, from springtime years ago.
do they still have it?: No. Agate lives underground now, and the moisture of the caves has rotted the pressed flower away. They still recall the feeling of sunlight on their face, however, a memory that's enough to hold them.

prized posession: A glittering tourmaline encrusted compass rose pendant, given to Kohlrabi by his father.
do they still have it?: Kohlrabi is never seen not wearing it. Whether in his satchels, or around his neck, the precious gift is always with him.

"Kohl. I have something for you." The gruff, yet gentle voice of his father murmured.
The young fable lifted his head with curiosity, distracted from his racing thoughts. The night cast beautiful rays of white from the red-tinged moon, and bright silver stars glittered overhead the pair. A cool breeze whistled past his ears, and he sat himself next to the older fable. His father reached for his son, pulling him closer and looking down towards the landscape below. He exhaled, and silently took off his precious belonging. "This has been in our family for years, my son. It belonged to my father before he passed it to me," his voice laced with emotion. "It's finally time for you to embrace it. As you age, you'll come across vast obstacles and immense hardships. This compass will act as a guide for when you feel alone; for when you feel lost. Remember that when you take ahold of your domains and rule over the mortals, with power comes loneliness. With strength comes isolation. You are never alone though Kohl. Never."

Fast forward a couple hundred years, and a matured Kohlrabi now rules over the seas and weather. With the guidance of his father's words and his precious compass, he rarely feels alone, just as he promised.

prized possession: a small blue and gold diary
do they still have it?: yes. zenith has had several diaries, and continues to write them. in fact, they have a tradition of starting a new diary at the beginning of every new year; however, this one is particularly precious due to what's written within, and the important events it recorded, namely, his mother's death. there was a lot of grieving, and a lot of growing done within those pages, as well as many fond memories jotted down, which they visit often. this book is rarely out of reach.

Koki and her mom were close all through her childhood and adulthood due to her father leaving when Koki was only a small Fable. Her mom had died a few years ago, and Koki grieved her deeply. The only thing she had left of her mom was a locket, a small picture of her mom and her inside. Koki wished she could see her mom again, even just for a few minutes, so she could talk to her, tell her about life, and say a final goodbye.

Koki had heard of making deals with the gods of the worlds in exchange for seeing a loved one who had passed, but she never believed it—until just the other day. Koki had been on a walk through the kingdom, heading to a nearby garden to pick some fresh herbs, when she suddenly tripped and fell into a deep, deep hole.

When she awoke, she saw a heavenly-like glow around her and one of the god fables of her world right in front of her. She recognized it to be Kosovo (made up), the god of wealth. She asked why she was here and what he wanted. He said he had been watching her, heard her wishes to see her mother, and had an offer. In exchange for her locket—pure gold and very shiny—she could have an hour with her mom again.

Koki, without thinking, quickly nodded and handed it over. Then she was teleported back to her house, her mom right in front of her. She cried and hugged her. She ranted about her life, her mom giving good advice and listening to everything.

When the hour was almost up, she said a tearful goodbye, and with a final hug, her mom disappeared back into the spirit world. Koki missed the locket, but she never regretted the trade. Seeing her mom was ten times better than any picture or piece of jewelry.

do they still have it?: in a way. one day, under the full moon, the brooch came to life, and is now a small silver lizard that lives in akesi's mane.

prized posession: A fiddle, made of spruce for the soundboard and maple for the back, sides, and neck
do they still have it?: Oh yes, he still has it, he uses it almost every day. Ceol is a wandering bard, a free spirit allowing the wind to blow him down whatever road that stretches itself in front of him. As a bard, he is an outgoing type of Fable and will talk to anyone he comes across which often gets him involved in other Fable's business and problems. He is always on the lookout for the next adventure, so he parties up with Fables that need help accomplishing something and travels with them until their goals are met. With bardic tunes played from a lively Irish fiddle, he can turn a failure into success, lift spirits to keep the party strong, and show the beauty in the absurd.

prized posession: Her prized passion is a tiny dried crocus flower, from the valley in which she was born. She still carries it, neatly woven into her mane and she has a habit of constantly checking to make sure it’s still there.
