Weavers are witnesses that stand the test of time where they make tapestries that depict historical events. Under a weak monarchy, they dare to tell the truth and that often leads to sentences of death. Yet, a weaver always makes it out alive. It is said the gold thread are a mark of verity that connect people based on calling and not blood.

Marda received her gold threads after witnessing royal knights quieting poisoning waterways. The scene burned into her mind and suddenly she was sitting at a loom to immortalize the injustice.

markings? A Royal's bloodline is seen through distinct golden markings/traits. Sometimes rumored as a sign of magical powers can instead be a curse. Chai's luminesce design provides her a power rather troubling, since a young doe she possessed some kind of influence over shadows. Though she spends most of her time sauntering quite happily, she does so at night as well especially when the moon is big and bright.

One hundred years ago, a kingdom fell into a deep darkness, cursed by a kelpie who loathed the small island country. She left them with nothing but this prophecy. markings? Kintsugi was born of a potter's wheel. The potter has no knowledge on how she came to life, though he has wondered about the story of Pinocchio and if there's any truth behind it, but he has a family who loves him very much and isn't lonely or poor, so nothing like Geppetto. He learned to just accept it as a miracle as rationalizing yielded no useful thoughts. One day Kintsugi got very badly hurt, her legs breaking off and he decided to try to fix her with gold like the Japanese fix their pottery, finally giving her a name.

markings? Valiant did not always have these markings. They started from his golden horns that were filled with ancient magic of great power. However, to defeat enemies of the herd, he had to fight back and eventually, use this power. After a great victory, threads of magic were still left deep within. And they turned into these beautiful markings.

markings? Calista has the gold markings of a healer. She was born when the planets were perfectly aligned, giving her celestial powers beyond any learned healer of her world. Calista doesn’t parade this power but openly shares her abilities with the elders who taught her everything she knows.

The royal family earns their filigree gold markings though magnificent acts of service, such as a grand sacrifice or proving to have wisdom far beyond their years used to solve a tragic problem that affects their subjects.To have a complete design is to be praised for one has proven themselves worthy of such status though their character and heart rather than simply birth lineage. Minimal and incomplete markings is one of signs of cowardice…a sign that one has failed their attempt and caused more ruin instead. These incomplete failures are shunned, such as he.
