Why is it his favourite? The flower of courage and devotion, Edelweiss is a plant found only in the mountains. Growing up, elder herd members told legends of how the bravest equids would journey to near inaccessible places to retrieve an Edelweiss for their true love. This symbolized a promise of loyalty, which is one of his core values. Now grown, strong, and surefooted, he travels to the most rugged locations each summer to admire this rare flower in its remote environment.

Why is it his favourite? Lavenders scent is extremely calming and helps him settle for sleep! He’s grown so use to it that without it he’s restless. He also enjoys it’s beautiful color!

His Favourite Flower: Love-in-a-Mist, Nigella damascena

Why is it his favourite? The love-in-a-mist is Albion's favorite flower because it reminds him of the pasture where he grew up. The grassy fields were dotted with many of the ferny bushes, which Albion didn't pay much mind to in the beginning. But in the early summer of his first year of life, those bushes exploded into countless blooms of mostly blue flowers! Dotted throughout were some flowers in white and pale purple. As he was still quite young at the time, they were the first flowers he'd ever encountered. Curious, yet bold, he attempted to sniff at the flowers and found that the sensation of the soft petals tickling his velvety nose was quite pleasant!

Why is it his favourite?: Oh he's fascinated with it since he was a foal! He first saw that plant when he was very little and thought the entire bush was covered by tiny, colorful monkeys - only to shockingly find out the little faces in the leaves were flowers! That was an absolute miracle in little colt's eyes. He's been obsessed with it ever since, and tries to find new colors of it everywhere he goes, and passionately follows the scent of a ripe orange whenever he feels it. Some equids say he might have a secret herbarium of them dried and hidden somewhere, but no one could prove its existance and he will not admit it (but does not deny it, either).

Why is it his favourite? (Name: Chianti) Chianti absolutely loves the shades of red, pink, and white, and he loves the variation of the petals depending on the subspecies. It's also a poisonous plant, but because of its awful taste animals don't snack on the flowers so he can enjoy them longer!

Why is it his favourite? Hank was once wandering along the wheat fields of the region he grew up at.
At a glance he saw something red in his eyes. A single poppy flower made it's way through the field of wheat.
It was too far for him to reach, but he admired it from a far. He went to walk by this poppy plant every day for a week, to discover more and more poppy plants every day he walked by there, just to find himself surrounded by the red little beaties.

Why is it his favourite? Yes, snapdragons are cute, colorful, and fun. However, Wyvern is drawn to them for what they look like after the bloom. Once the petals die, they leave behind a spooky little skull.

Why is it his favourite? This plant is not only gorgeous but also happens to be edible for equines of all kinds, and grows in a great population on the grassy knolls and endless, ocean-like, waving steppes at the base of the mountains where he calls his home. This flower is a tasty snack and comes in handy while trying to catch a mare's eye; a flashy pop of color can make all the difference when trying to impress a potential mate, in his opinion, of course. He thinks that the blue of the flower clashes with his coat, but in a good way.

Why is it his favourite? As a colt, Haukur was fascinated by nature. He would spend his days lazing around the meadow, watching the flowers sway in the breeze. He found it difficult to open up and be strong and confident like the other colts that frolicked, and play-fought together. The sunshine flower had always been his favorite from the start. With its round bulb like flower petals that were like an explosion of pinks and yellows and the tiny leaves that seemed to have a mind of their own. He loved poking them with his muzzle, watching as the leaves would fold in on themself at the slightest of touch- something that no other flowering plant in the meadow did! It reassured him; that even this flower that would close in on itself and was different from all other flowers in the meadow, it still thrived.
