fable name: Erwin
answer: This is one of her most precious memories, about one of her many youthful adventures. It's after this particular venture that their coat changed from pure gray to dappled with white. Yet this magical moment faded with time, until Erwin forgot about it. The fable sat on the frosty grass as she began to remember its long forgotten memories.
---
It was a beautiful day like this one. Lights shining through the frozens branches of the trees. White fluffy snow covered the ground. You wouldn't think that a snow storm would had happened the day before, yet it did, turning the world white in one night. Erwin took this chance to secretly sneak out, as she was a fawn born to explore the world.
The dappled fable remembered trotting through the woods, excited for adventures. As she traveled, leaving imprints in the delicate white powder, she soon found a strange scene. There was a clear, shimmering pond surrounded by snow-covered grass. The pale sky contrasted with the deep blue water and in the calm water swam a group of majestic white birds. The young Erwin didn't know what they are, but now much much older, she knew that the birds she encountered in her youth were called ''swans''. The pure white birds swam freely, some were pruning their feathers, other were proudly showing them off. The youthful fable was so mesmerized by the flapping of the graceful and beautiful wings, that she began to imitate them.
Suddenly, she heard steps behind her. When she turned around, Erwin saw a elegant white fable with a equally white horn and wings. Curious, the pure white fable questionned the young fawn, who soon told them how she found this place and how she was in awe of the plump snowy birds. With a light chuckle, the graceful fable invited Erwin to join them in one condition that Erwin must return to her home when the night falls. The young, overhyped fawn immediatly agreed.
The following hours were almost magical. Erwin played with the swans, swam with them and even tried to fly with them, flapping her not fully grown wings. She spoke with the white fable and told them all her lil adventures. Yet all wonderful things come to an end. Soon, the day became dimmer and not before long, Erwin realized that the sun has begin to hide away behind the far away mountains.
Fulfilling her promise, Erwin headed home with the snowy fable following closely behind to assure her safety. As they exchanged goodbye, the horn of the elegant fable suddenly shined brightly and speckles of snows began falling from the sky. The fawn watched in fascination as the snow melted into her, staining parts of her fur white. It was like she had a permanent coat of snow on her. Then, Erwin looked at the sky and saw, through the fleeting white flakes, that the swans began to immigrate. The white fable said a final farewell and, with a light chuckle, they flew to join their bird compagnions.
---
The dappled fable stared at the beautiful swans, floating lazily in the same shimmering pond. She wondered if she would ever see that mysterious white fable again, she didn't even knew their name... After that magical day, Erwin stood beside this pond every year, waiting, wishing, until she stashed this memory into the depth of her conscious. As Erwin began to stand up, she suddenly heard steps behind her...
