name; Sycamore
where they got the leaves from?;
Sycamore's hobby is arranging flower bouquets or accessories for their loved ones. The shy fable enjoy spending their days looking for pretty flowers and greens to pick. Eucalyptus is Sycamore's favourite plant, they love the pale green colour and calming scent of the eucalyptus. In return for the flower arrangements, Sycamore often asks their friends to help arrange some of the fresh cut eucalyptus in their mane.

name; Fiadh (fia - irish name meaning wilderness/deer or directly translates to respect)
where they got the leaves from?;
Deep in the heart of a mystical forest, hidden beneath the cover of an ancient willow tree lived Fiadh, the guardian of the enchanted wood. Unlike her kin who revelled in wild waters and whispered secrets to the rivers, Fiadh chose to embrace the land as her home, she herself cloaked in cascading leaves all woven through her mane, tail and feathers with the essence of the nature around her. The willow leaf’s gentle sway and soft green hues were not merely a choice of attire; they were a testament to her eternal bond with the woods she protected. Many thought she donned the leaves to conceal her true nature, hushed rumours of a mask concealing the sharp teeth and a powerful form beneath the gentle exterior, but this was far from the truth. Each leaf held the magic of the wood itself, binding her to its fate, she its sworn protector. They sprouted from the heart of the ancient willow, infused with dreams, protection, and the memories of all who had walked the forest paths. Under her care the enchanted wood thrives, peaceful and beautiful, and Fiadh, forever draped in her willow leaves, stands as a beacon of hope, spreading tales of magic and peace for generations to come.

name; Thalmyra
where they got the leaves from?;
One fine day, a kelpie decided to join a "riverbed fashion show." To impress the fish judges, it dived into the muckiest part of the lake, rolling around in leaves and algae for that "natural look."
As it strutted out, tangled and dripping, the otters burst into laughter, shouting, "You look like the lake threw up on you!"
The kelpie shrugged, flipping its mane and getting all mud out. "Fashion isn't understood by everyone!"
As all mud washed off with water, sparkling white coat showed beautiful kelpie with leaves in its hair.

name; Genziana
where they got the leaves from?; Genziana fell asleep on the the top of a hill on a windy day. She was so tired that she didn't even wake up when the strength of the wind increased. When she woke up as a not so pleasant surprise she was all covered in leaves! They were all tangled up in her beautiful fur and it took her some time to take them off. However, seeing all those leaves on the ground, Genziana thought that they could have been a nice addition to her outfit if used with criteria. She tried to braid them in her fur in a tidy and clean manner and now she can't live without them!

name; Flora
where they got the leaves from?;
As some humans are said to have a green thumb when they are talented at caring for plants, Flora's got a "green hoof" for growing plants herself! In particular, she is growing willow trees - and she's growing them on her own body no less! Each and every little sapling is like her own fawn to her. She collects the seeds by walking under the trees when fluffy little seeds are sprouting and ready to go - so small and so white they could not be distinguished from her own fur. Then on her travels, she goes wherever she needs to make sure her little ones get everything they need to grow - basking in the warm meadow light to give them the sun, or walking through fresh morning dew bushes to water them. Her magic does the rest, and provides the seeds with growth, braiding into her mane and tail. When the sprouts get too heavy, that's when the little willows are ready to leave their foster mother and find a nice patch of riverbank to call their forever home. Flora picks the spot carefully, to ensure they will be happy and grow healthy there, and when it is picked, rests on it until the sapling drops onto the soil. She visits all her tree children regularily, and is very heartbroken to find one succumbed to nature's elements - it makes her more protective of her plant babies every time.

    name; khizr
    where they got the leaves from?; khizr lives in a small but very deep lake situated in a forest clearing. he picks the leaves from a small underwater garden he cares for at the shallow parts of the lake, where he plants mini weeping willows in the sandy ground. once the trees' leaves are big enough, he picks them and strings them together to decorate his mane.

name; Melu
where they got the leaves from?;

Using the Hum affects everyone a little differently. Some could use it every day of their lives and never bear an outward mark or sign. Some are changed so drastically it can be difficult to recognize them as who they were originally. Melu comes from a long line of groundskeepers, who, for generations, have watched over the flora and fauna of the Kaza palatial complex. She tends to various parts of the expansive gardens, but it's the pools of cool clear water in the northern section of the grounds that she's always felt most at home with. The waters need much attention to remain healthy and Melu uses the Hum to refresh the pools and sustain the plant and fish living within them. The vines grew in slowly, but a little longer every time she re-purified the waters

name; Farruzah
where they got the leaves from?; Deep within the enchanted forest, there is a pond. Though the pond may seem ordinary, when the moon is full the light shimmers on the surface, reflecting the magnificent twinkle of the stars from above. Farruzah discovered this pond one night, and decided to make it her home for a while. Kelpie blood ran through her veins, and though she wandered the forest during the day, she always returned to the waters once the sun disappeared.

The pond was much deeper than she expected, and as she dove to the bottom she found an underwater cave. Every square inch of the cave was covered in these leaves, it was if the walls themselves had been formed from the greenery. She floated inside and rested on the cave floor, the soft leaves making for the most comfortable nest Farruzah had ever laid in. It didn't take much for her to peacefully drift off into sleep.

The next morning she awoke, and noticed some of the leaves had grown into her fur overnight. Reminiscing about the best sleep she's ever had thanks to those leaves, she decided to wear them proudly!

name; Elide
where they got the leaves from?;

On the edges of the fen, where the ground begins to transition to forest floor, resides an Ent. Guardian of the boundary between moor and wood, the Fable often encounters this like minded steward of the earth as she tends her marsh every moon. Words are a delicacy for the Ent, the being opting to communicate with slow, languid gesturing, often gifting a flower borne from the palm of it's hand to Elide when they cross paths, in silent greeting.

She cherishes each silent moment, two stewards of adjacent pockets of earth reveling in their love for the world.

Young deer and wolf pups often clamor around her when she's checking the marsh, birds perched on her back as she walks.
"Elide! Where'd you get your fancy leaves? Are they seaweed from the ocean? I've never seen the sea, but I hear it's beautiful!" a pup jumps around her, splashing in the muck.
The fable chuckles gently, head tossing with the action, recalling how she earned her garlands.

An axe, swinging through the air, metal against wood, unknowing in the violence it is committing. Elide steers the terror in her heart, calling upon thick, cloying fog to blanket the woods and misdirect the axe's wielder. It takes a moment, but it works. The woods are silent once more, but this time she only feels worry instead of serenity.

Rushing to the Ent, she surveys the damage. A shuddering groan emerges from the creature, and she hastily touches her horn to the gash in it's bark and begins to hum. Moisture dry, rot be gone, I heal my friend, with my song. Fibers weave together once more, the only remnant of the act is a new whorl upon the Ent.

The creature looks down upon Elide, it's face morphing to one of contentment. Slowly reaching up, it plucks some of the willowy branches from it's tree, and drapes them over the Fable, a gentle bow given to her as it finishes the gift. She bows back, relief and gratitude filling her eyes.

"Not the sea, dear ones, no." She laughs again, a chime through the reeds. "I helped a very old friend, and they helped me."
