She can sense the couple's slight confusion, explaining,
"'cause I love beans!"

"What a great costume! You sure are creative." Phoebe hums, admiring your costume. "Barry, be a dear and get them some treats?"

"Sure thing, dear!" Barry disappears and there's a pause. "U-uh, Phoebe, my dear, please don't be mad..." He reveals a pan of black char, candy that has been cooked to a crisp...

"Barry! I told you to set a timer!" Phoebe exhales, rubbing her temples. "I'm sorry, little one, looks like you're out of luck here. Come back next time and I'll be sure to do things ahem properly." She apologizes, switching the lights off for the night.

Phoebe grumbles as she hears the doorbell while she's fixing Barry's previous mess, glancing out of the window. "Trick-or-treaters already? It isn't even dark yet!"

"Honey, you know littler kits can't stay out too late." Barry chuckles, instructed to stay out of the kitchen for the remainder of the night.
