it's my first time drawing grass with this much detail like... ever. my hand hurts but i am satisfied. (reference used)

Picked a random color palette and tried to make a drawing only with those colors.

wanted to do some vent sketch of a storm featuring blue devil.

I thought that since my doodle was deemed good enough to be featured, it really deserved to be polished a bit further as well.

So, here's a second version of it, with more time and effort put into it. I'm really happy now that it got featured because it gave me the motivation to work on it again - might still go back and tweak it a little later.

arrrgargargarrg i've been having such a hard time sitting down and drawing, here's a sort of environment study + my man rye sitting in the tub. there is a moment in the painting where i realized that i got too loose with the study and went OH NO HOW DO I FIX THAT so there's a wall of leaves that iii think turned out completely fine.

i've been having to experience too many things, most of which i have never wanted to. a toast to spring and plants and myself and everyone having a bad time and a good time both.

a toast to feeling much better soon, even if my allergies are flaring up right now. yeehaw. ALSO a toast to everyone fighting with backgrounds oh my god the ugly phase in them lasts for too long but it's so worth it, keep going!!!! everyone keep drawing you've got this!!! reference

Yehhhh shoutout to qwertyo who I took inspiration from trying to detail my grass more :3 my bgs are not as cohesive but it's more fun to me to just scribble colors sooo xD

Alsooooo just a life update ig since this is the first oekaki I've posted in awhile: I'm back to being a full time college student (I'm starting my nursing prereqs and they are no joke LOL) + working my part time job so a lot of my cs projects have been left in the dust... rip squippies ^^' just cuz I gotta prioritize real life at the moment :') I hope to get back to these, at least for finishing the things I've committed to for a couple closed species, but it's gonna be real slow going for awhile!! But they are not forgotten I prommy
