Music. Especially from my childhood. Not even songs I really listened to. Just the era of humanity they came from. Something about this point time really pulls on my heartstrings and makes me feel like I missed out on a lot of experiences. I feel so human when listening to these songs, such raw emotion, such uncontrolled emotion. It feels so natural to enjoy the songs I listen to, as if it was just built into my brain chemistry from before I was born, which would make sense. The earliest days of my existence were probably spent listening to songs like the ones I do now, and the fact that I am essentially revisiting them all makes for an emotional experience. I miss this kind of music!!
