This marumi was drawn to the sea at a very young age. Many of their peers knew to fear depths larger than a shallow puddle or drinking pool, but that's not a sentiment that they've ever shared. Once alone, unsupervised, they approached the cool mirror that reflected the full night's moon and.....promptly sank. The strangest thing about it was how unafraid they were as they gathered their bearings, but then again, perhaps it wasn't? This was just natural. Before they knew it they were kicking their feet and gliding as if through the air, but under the water this time. They'd have stayed longer, but they were promptly fished out and scolded about the dangers of sneaking off alone.
