Thank you to all who participated in Day Two. Everyone got
seven Cranberries for their efforts. Adrienne cherished the opportunity to get to know each of you a bit better. Here's what she had to say:

Adrienne wrote:It’s so sweet of you to compliment others’ outfits! Sometimes a lot of thought goes into an outfit, and I just know your noticing of it means a lot! And I’m sorry people aren’t always receptive to your talkativeness, but it’s uplifting to hear how you have spun that to ensure that you are always nice to others”

Adrienne wrote:Jim, thank you for opening up to me! Did I already mention how happy I am that you came to my patch? I don’t believe in coincidences, and I have a feeling you’ll get more than a pumpkin out of your time here…
Speaking of, I have this ear of calico corn left over from this year’s harvest. It has a beauty that I feel like you might be able to appreciate. Would you like to have it?

Adrienne wrote:Yiruma, you seem to have put a lot of thought into this! That accounting mind of yours is endlessly intriguing. Give me chills! Oh, do stay and tell me more. We’re both drawn to eyes, but Cracked Egg could use more than that!

Adrienne wrote:Thistle, you’re the kindest! I’m so excited to read it, I’ll have to get into it right away! And “beauty of the soul,” that’s beautiful! And thank you, I see the same in you! After all, who else would trust a stranger with a book of theirs? See you soon!

Adrienne wrote:Shallow? Absolutely not! There’s a lot to be said about how your spirit responds to others’, and sometimes it’s for the best. And thank you, I feel the same about you! I’m so thankful you came to my patch! You have a wisdom and level of discernment that many others don’t. And don’t worry, I’m sure I can make something beautiful of Chumpkin yet!

Adrienne wrote:You know, that’s a bit of wisdom you don’t always hear! There’s always more to others than what first impressions reveal, and I appreciate how you look beyond these things. Someone once told me, if you don’t like someone, you don’t well them enough. I don’t always agree, but it’s a good reminder to get to know others deeper before you make judgements. Thank you for sharing a bit about your story!

Adrienne wrote:You must be very perceptive! I’m sure that can tell you a lot about a person, based on how they react in social situations! Isn’t it fascinating how in tune we are to notice others’ non-verbal means of communication? You’ve given me a lot to think about as I carve Little Red for you!

Adrienne wrote:Isn’t it wonderful how unique everyone is! It makes me so sad when others don’t like what makes them unique because I often find that these differences are what makes everyone beautiful! Speaking of beautiful blemishes and embracing what’s unique, I have been waiting for just the perfect father for
Pumbaa here, and I think you’re just the one!

Adrienne wrote:I completely agree, there is much to be learned from others by their posture! I don’t think we often realize how easily our mentality is conveyed by our nonverbal signals, but there definitely is a lot to be said about that. You’re so right, Caspian. That is a good place to start!

Adrienne wrote:Nyx, you get me! What you said about a smile that doesn’t reach the eyes is so true. You know what they say, “The eyes, Chico, they never lie.” I’m so sorry to hear about your grandma, but I can relate. Eyes have a way of telling what can’t be said, and betraying what you try to hide. Thank you for opening up to me.

Adrienne wrote:I’m so glad you like “Pinkie!” I had a feeling you two would get along. Although I don’t have your eye for outfits and hairstyles, I definitely understand where you’re coming from. I love how others can express themselves through their appearances, like your beautiful dress! When I saw you coming, I just knew you were going to be full of spunk!

Adrienne wrote:Aw, I’m so glad you love Bruce! In a way, all along, I was growing him just for you, isn’t that beautiful? And no, that’s not too vague at all! Someone wise once said “The mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” We have the power to speak life or curses, and how we communicate definitely says a lot about us! I’m so glad I met you, Buttercup! You’re so wise!

Adrienne wrote:Wow, Spook, thank you for sharing your perspective! There’s so much wisdom in what you have learned from your experiences. We need more cows like you who are willing and able to look past appearances and accept people for who they are, not what their friendship could do for you! It sounds like you have had poor encounters in the past, and I do hope you won’t have to suffer any more of that!
