Today I learned there are two different types of pinwheel cookie! I grew up eating Joulutorttu, which are a Finnish or Swedish pastry with fruit filling. My family and neighbors just called them 'pinwheel cookies'. I'd never seen the chocolate and vanilla spiral variation until today. Now I might have to try and make some...
