Unfortunately, it's her worst instrument. Her whiskers get in the way all the time because playing the pipes requires you to keep repositioning your mouth for every note. She's tried any number of tricks but they always come apart. The best one so far was making a "ponytail" of sorts on top of her snout but the whiskers wriggle when she is happy and playing the pipes always makes her happy so, down they come. Some day...some day...

Pancake works at her local pool during the summer and absolutely LOVES using old pool noodles from the supply closet to create various fun floaties for the kids to use. Pool noodles are hollow, you see, so when you slice them up you create what are essentially giant foam pony-beads. And you can then use these giant foam pony-beads, along with a length of sturdy cord, to make little 'beaded' animals that float in the pool.Fish, lizards, snakes, a dolphin - she's only limited by her own imagination and the patterns she can find online! Pancake will also weave pool noodles together and bind them at the top to create shady little poolside huts for kids to hang out in on snack breaks.
