Prompt: (This is a reflection of my own life without going too far into detail.)

Sadie was a happy pup growing up, ignorance was truly bliss in her younger days. She often spent time hiking through the woods with her parents, ready for the next adventure. Back then she didn't have to worry about the stresses of being a grown-up or the problems of the real world. She was always close with her mother, but her mother was more of a friend than an actual parent. As time went on, Sadie became more of a mother to her own mom than she ever was to her. Always wanting to help her, always wanting to save her from herself. She often looks back at the memories from her childhood and holds onto the positive ones. The ones with nothing but happiness and laughter amidst the pain. Sadie is thankful for her life, even if it was a tough one. She takes her free-spirit from her mom and her dad taught her how to be strong. A core memory of hers was her mother singing "You Are My Sunshine" to her before bed when she was little and every time she hears the song, she can't help but tear up.

Cloud Nine and his parents are best friends.
But it wasn't always that way.
When Cloud Nine was a full adolescent, he thought what so many young pups feel - that his parents were just the worst! They were out to get him and ruin his happiness.
One day in particular, Cloud wanted to go to an all-nighter party at the neighboring farm.
"Please!!" He begged, in front of his parents that evening. "Nothing bad will happen! Isaac is going. I-I'll stick around him" he stuttered out.

Blitzø and Stolas exchanged a glance. Stolas started to nod and then Blitzø pulled him to the side and hissed "No! Are you crazy? He's not going. He hangs around the neighbors pack of troublemakers. They're thieves, and they throw themselves into dangerous situations. I'm not encouraging this behavior."
"But he said he's going to stay with Isaac!" Stolas protested.
Blitzø huffed. "Do you actually believe that? He's a pup. He's not hanging out with someone who could be his uncle. He's not going, end of story, I'm not letting anything happen to him!"

Cloud avoided his parents for days after the party, still seething that he didn't get to go. Although he heard news that one of his friends in the neighboring pack got seriously injured that night, and he was secretly happy he didn;t have anything to do with the situation.

Aside from being overprotective, oh what else! Cloud thought they were too 'obsessed' with him. Who wants parents that want to hang out with you all the time?

Cloud Nine was at his first herding trial and trying to put on a good show for his friends, but the silence was shattered by Blitzø and Stolas hooting and hollering in the crowd, screeching words of encouragement.
"Go Cloud! Get those sheep!"
Cloud groaned and shook his head, mortified, trying to regain his focus.
But the trial was a success and he was secretly glad they came out to see him herd.

After maturing into an adult, Cloud Nine is a lot more appreciative of his parents. They still do everything together now, and he's forever grateful for their love, protectiveness, and support, although maybe sometimes a teeny bit embarrassed by their affection for their 'little pup.'

They meant a lot for him along with other members of his family. What Shax didn't know, was that as he kept growing up, his father would start to see him as a possible future rival and enemy, instead of the loving kid he still was and is. He started to have different arguments and conflicts that soon elevated to fights, from which Shax always ended up escaping, tail between legs, not wanting to face the monster in which his father turned into. Feeling horrible and trapped, Shax started to show aggresivity to his mother, imitating what his father did to him and angry that his mother never did anything to stop what his father did, but as he felt even worse, started to be less sociable with others, growing more and more introverted. At the end, one night, Shax, tired of all this, left behind all he knew and his home, running away.
All alone, Shax felt like he broke free from the prison he was in. He started to be himself again, leaving behind the shadow of his father, making a couple friends, starting to live and enjoy his life. One day, he was face to face to his mother. The first thing she did was saying sorry to her son, and told him how at the end, after losing him, she was able to find the courage to face her mate and made him leave.
Since that moment, Shax decided to give his mother another chance, and both are loving this opportunity to know each other, as they both share a lot of likes and enjoy doing things together.
About Shax' father, not much is known, and neither it is important, as he had the best of the gifts in life and decided to torn it into pieces, ending alone as he deserved for treating that way his loved ones.
