Bluesong had gone through a lot of trials in his time as Cherrystars apprentice. It was a big deal to be trained byt eh clans leader, and obviously Bluesong must have had promise to be chosen at such a toung age. With the death of their beloved Deputy still loom,ing over their heads, everyone believed that soon Bluesong would take that spot at Cherrystar's side. It was still too soon though, and Bluestar was much too young to fill a role so big.

So when the unexpected and tragic death of Cherrystar spread, everyone was in a panic. With no Leader and no one to fil the spot, Bluesong stepped up, doing his best to keep the clan from turning on one another as accusations of Cherrystars death spread like wildfire.
Bluesong had one person he trusted the most in this clan, his dear friend since childhood, Crouton. Without thought he recruited him to help him calm the clan. and with Crouton's family rallied at his side they were able to calm the clan down and begin working on figuring out exactly what had happened to Cherrystar, and how no one could find his body.

Being a leader was tough and lonely at times. So before long, once Bluestar grew into himself and grew into his name he seeked out compansionship. It was probably way too cliche to fall in love with your best friends sister but, he just couldn't help it. She was always around, always so quiet and kind, the exact opposite of her brother Crouton. She was shy to come around at first, but having her brother around eased her and her and Bluestar became fast friends. He wasn't sure when the line between friends and lovers blurred but he was glad that it had.
The future of the clan l;ooked bright and with Crouton and Breadcrumb at his side, he felt complete. Well, almost complete.
