rio spends his days creating small, clay dioramas in repurposed glass bottles. at night, he makes his way down the mountain he lives atop and decorates the pathway that takes you throughout mountainside ridge, the community he calls home. the agel doesn’t interact much with those around him, and doesn’t speak; he prefers to be alone in his quaint, stone cottage-turned-studio. creating art at such a small scale brings rio calmness and joy, and he decorates the path not only to bring those passing by happiness, but to also show his appreciation to the goobies who go out of their way to visit him.

alongside that, he tends to create dioramas as gifts for the goobs who take interest in his work and start conversations when they see him around. rio makes these solely from memory, and each one depicts the goob it’s being gifted to. the only time he ventures from his mountaintop home in the daytime is when he’s hand-delivering the custom creations, and does his best to be social with the recipient to thank them for their kindness.
