Wild horses of Thalija
The wild horses of Thalija are a friesian like breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. There isn't much known about them yet and we are still discovering more herds and horses to watch their behaviour and their life. Most of them are completely wild, but when we know a bit more about them, maybe we can manage to befriend some of the lonely Stallions and Mares that don't belong to a herd.

You said he has to grow up first, of course. Is he allowed to take females that already have a herd? I mean ones that are in the father's herd. Just for future reference.

there are different kinds of breedings your horse can try for
If he tries to breed with a mare that belongs to another herd there is a chance he will be found by the lead stallion, so there is only a 70% success rate for the breeding
but he can not breed with a mare in his own herd if he is only a sub-stallion, otherwise the lead stallion would chase him away and he would end up being a loner again

Do we have to wait a real life year for goals to age?
Or would they be considered adults once they have an adult ref?

oh gosh no!
foals are adult after 2 weeks, even when they don't have their fully grown mane/tail
