prompt:1 Icarus is a man of royal taste. As such, only the most unique and exquisite companion would do - however, he prefers his quiet and his peace. Out of all of the creatures in the world, Icarus landed on a feline companion for his friend - a unique piebald snow leopard with a salty personality (based on salted caramel ice cream) named Pretzel. While the two are on good terms, Icarus never mistakes Pretzel for a house-cat, and prefers to give Pretzel his spade while admiring him in his spacious enclosure. He has had Pretzel since the leopard was a cub, and originally kept him close in the castle while he was relatively harmless, but he had to be moved outdoors once he hit maturity. There are some rumors in the kingdom that traitors or criminals are fed to Pretzel, but those have never been proven or disproven, and Icarus refuses to comment on them. He does make a show of having Pretzel close to his throne when entertaining other royalty though, and has a vast collection of gold and jewel lines collars for him.
