WinterWind and RavenFrost have been enemies since WinterWind became Deputy. The two used to be childhood friends, RavenFrost had always dreamed of being a Deputy. When WinterWind was declared the newest Deputy under BlazingStar, RavenFrost was heartbroken.

He began to hold a grudge against his childhood friend. Which ends up breaking their bond and cause them to dislike eachother. Everything ends up a competition between the two cats.

They used to do everything together, and now they constantly bicker back and forth. Trying to outshine the other. They have not gotten along since then, RavenFrost refusing to talk to or even look in WinterWind's direction.

These two are sworn rivals now, often trying to out compete eachother and occasionally dragging Clanmates into their squabbles.

The scar along his eye was cause from one of his squabbles with RavenFrost.

ShadowStars Rival/Enemy is the current leader of Mistfalls Aka SurrealStar. 3 Generations ago the leader of mistfalls clan was DeerStar, Shadows great grandfather, but as DeerStar got older rouge clans and groups started to make a move for being named leader of Mistfalls, one of these was Surreals Greatgrandfather BloodStar. BloodStar was known to cheat and lie, but he was also known as kind, but when he changelled DeerStar he cheated Dousing his claws in a muscle realxing agent, due to this when BloodStar struck Deerstar drawing blood the agent got into his system slowing him down, and thus leading to his death. Though BloodStar had a reason it did not justify cheating, and though he allowed for the cats that followed DeerStar to stay many left, fearing what might happen to them and their kin. Since then the story has been passed down through the generations of Shadows family along with the hatred and resentment. This darkened Shadows heart as she grew and eventually caused her to take action, poisioning the mistfalls water supply the clan grew sick and Shadow grew a plan to take back Mistfalls from Surreal and her Forefathers.

Beeflame's claws cut deep into the dirt at his paws, dark surface crumbling away beneath him. For the barest of moments, Beeflame allowed himself to imagine that it was Rookstar.

All that talk about honesty and leadership, and being willing to admit mistakes- all of it had been lies. Rookstar had played at being a great leader, and kept the greatest secret of all in the same breath. Beeflame's heart wrenched, thinking of all that could have been avoided if Rookstar had only been honest.

Hollow though his mentor's lessons had been, Beeflame had learned something from them nonetheless.

He would not be a shell, as Rookstar had been. He would keep no secrets for himself- never put those he was supposed to protect in danger by hiding the truth.

She's not even sure Maplepool knows about it- how Shadepounce's fur stands on end, her heart leaps in her chest, and her claws slide out unbidden at the sight of her rival.

Even if she does know it, the orange and gray molly shows no sign of awareness. Always calm, always poised- never so much as twitching an ear as Shadepounce glared thorns at her.

That aloof demeanor was part of what had rankled Shadepounce in the first place. Surely no cat could be that much of a picture-perfect example. To continually fail in comparison to another apprentice who was, by all accounts, virtually perfect- she could not abide it. Her sister had always told her to calm down, that Maplepool probably didn't know what she was doing- but Shadepounce knew better.

Someone needed to take her down a peg, and stars help her, she swore she would be the one to do it. Whatever it took.

Acornpaw darted from side to side, in between grasses and trees. The dusk sky raced over his head, zig-zagging from side to side, his chest heaving as he finally laid his paws upon his prey.

Acornpaw sighed as this sweet training memory came to him. Breezewing had been his mentor and to this shy young cat her chaotic energy had been truly intimidating. However through his training and as the days became moons, the chaos grew on him. He realised that behind her chaotic nature was a wisdom, and a reasoning that he hadn't recognised. He cherished the fact that she helped him break out of his shy shell, and if he could embody even just a smidge of her chaos, he'd be proud of himself.

CRUNCH!

a twig snapped beneath greypaw’s foot. he paused, cringing to himself before continuing forth, doing his best to muffle the sound of his steps. his gaze were locked on a small bird not too far from him now, laid amongst the blooms of yarrow that formed the forests’ carpet. the tiny creature, which he could now identify as a robin, had seemingly been alerted to his presence by the crackling of twigs. however, it had not taken flight. unusual.

this was the apprentice’s first solo hunt; he wasn’t far from camp, but greypaw was alone. his task, to bring home any piece of prey before sundown, hadn’t seemed too daunting. now many attempts in, it was proving to be more difficult than he’d expected. he could feel a slight chill beginning to descend upon the woods, and knew that dusk was approaching. and still, nothing yet. greypaw has been foolish enough to let his previous targets escape, and he couldn’t risk allowing this bird to evade him as well.

pit-pat. pit-pat.

greypaw advanced further, approaching the robin from behind. it seemed to attempt flutter its wings, before settling back into the yarrow. it shrunk away from the soft sound of his footsteps, though it didn’t make any attempt to flee. by now, greypaw's thankfulness was waning, being replaced by confusion. surely it knew he was there by now, and it hadn’t left. rather than pouncing, the apprentice let his guard fall and approached the bird curiously.

upon reaching the animal, he understood. one of it’s wings was pinned beneath a branch, feathers scattered around the scene from its earlier struggle. his heart sank. he looked down at the prey, and it now looked back at him. it seemed to accept its fate, chirping lightly as it fluttered it's free wing more softly now, still unable to take off. such an easy kill, but it didn’t feel like a gift. it felt like nothing short of an absolute curse in that moment.

this was not a fair hunt.

how meaningful would fulfilling his mission truly be, if the bird he caught had been unable to flee or defend itself against him? with a deep sigh, greypaw used one paw to push at the branch, freeing the robin. following a quick shake of its wings, testing out its liberated appendage, the bird finally took off. as it left the dense understory where he stood, the apprentice could only watch as his prey disappeared between the trees towering above him into the now-darkening sky.

with that, greypaw returned to camp, empty-pawed. “no luck?” his mentor chuckled lightly, waiting for him at the meadow’s entrance with sympathetic eyes. “no, nothing today.”
