Prompt: Arsenic pressed her head against the tank’s glass. She closely examined the skate’s almost flat body. “My best guess would be that this creature spends most of its time on the floor of the ocean. I also think that it is primarily found in shallow coastal waters. “Maybe I am wrong though. There are rays that can be found far out in the ocean.” Arsenic sat back in the chair, excited to learn more about the small creature.

Prompt:

Scuddlebug gazed at his Nudibranch thoughtfully. Well...they'd probably live in the deep sea? But...wouldn't they get bored? Maybe they had raves down there. It'd be a good place for it...

Luca has chosen the majestic sea turtle. Sea turtles spend almost all of their lives in the open ocean eating a diet consisting of algae, seaweeds, jellyfish and other soft-bodied invertebrate animals, sea sponges and shell fish (diet varies depending on the species of sea turtle in question). Males are only ever on land when they are hatchlings crawling to the sea. Females, after the age of about 10 to 20 years of age, come ashore every other year or so to lay their eggs (females rarely lay eggs every year consecutively). Luca has surfed with a few sea turtles in his time in the ocean. They are his favorite animal.

Prompt:
watermelon thinks their fish lives somewhere in the middle of the ocean! it seems too intimidating with its teeth to live closer to the surface, but seems too friendly to live in the darker depths of the sea. however, the fact that the fish just sat in place while he was observing it earlier makes watermelon think that the fish lives in freshwater instead of saltwater! ultimately, he wasn’t sure, so he wrote everything down on the paper.

Prompt: Ribbon eels live offshore in warm waters with plenty of coral to hide in. They will also burrow in sand and rocks of shallow waters. Ribbon eels span lagoons and coastal waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Native populations can be found in Australia, New Caledonia, Japan, East Africa and French Polynesia! [51 words]

Prompt:
"It's pitch black as the deep sea rover picks up movement through the particles on the camera, causing a group of chicoons to lean excitedly into a small camera they are cluttered around. One points suddenly with an excited honk; on the screen moving slowly into view is a Dumbo Octopus!!! The rover was around 10k+ feet below the surface, but while they are in prime territory to see cool creatures, the students had been empty handed all week. The tiny friend hovered curiously in front of the rover, swimming circles, before eventually disappearing once more. The students couldn't wait to show their professor!"

Prompt: Tadpole watched his fish swim around the tank for a little bit and wrote down any behaviors that caught his attention. He knew goldfish are a type of carp and were originally bred as ornamental decorations. Tadpole guessed that goldfish's lived in still bodies of water and ate bugs in the wild.

Prompt: I don’t actually know for sure, but I’d assume Roseline sharks are freshwater! Thus, you would find them in lakes, rivers, streams.. etc. My brother actually owns one in his fish tank, and I think it’s a freshwater tank..! Plus, according to Wikipedia, they are native to India, didn’t know that haha
