The robot would need to have a sizable storage compartment and a system to know where each order goes. They considered creating the robot to be in the likeness of a chicoon; that'd probably be the ideal course of action because of all the fun patterns they could do! Alucard tilted his head during the lecture, not really understanding but being able to grasp most of the concept. All he had to do was figure out What he wanted to build, right? Shouldnt be too hard... maybe. He sat down and thought, mentally scribbling on a piece of paper as he couldnt physically hold a pencil well enough to write legibly. Maybe he should invest in building blocks? or a tablet-? whatever- he was getting off topic. He needed ideas for a robot.

What about something silly? He could just make a simple machine that did random things? ohh but what if it was going to be judged... Hmm. Ohh! What if he built something useful? Something that could help him, maybe? It would definitely be easier to do things if he could handle objects easier, but how. What could help him with grabbing and holding things. Maybe a little robot that acted as a moving table? but theres still the issue of getting things onto there... A claw-like thing? but how to operate it... There had to be SOMETHING he could make, right? what about.. Something he was missing? He didnt have as many fingers as other chicoons, after all, but what could he do about that?

What about that one grey Chicoon from Chemistry class, they couldnt speak but had a weird box around their neck to help them, could he do something like that but with his hands? What was that sort of thing called, he knew it had a name, after all... pros.. prosthetic? was that it? What if he made himself a prosthetic to help him out! He smiled a bit at the idea of finally being able to grab and hold onto things, tail wagging slightly. He lifted one of his hands up and looked it over, trying to imagine something he could do with it. Maybe he could build himself a new thumb? Maybe use a glove to attach it! But then came the problem of figuring out how hed use it. Robots usually have sensors, right? Maybe it could sense when he wanted it to close?

Did he really need this though? he COULD technically grab things but it often wasnt... stable. More times than not hed end up dropping or fumbling whatever he had tried to hold. A thumb would provide that extra support, wouldnt it? Then it was decided. Alucard clumsily gripped onto a pencil, the writing utensil wobbling a bit in his grasp as he started to messily draw. The lines were all over the place and often jutting out in random directions from the pencil slipping or Alucard fumbling to grasp hold again, but eventually he had a barely legible sketch down of a prosthetic that he was determined to try to make.

> PROMPT | Error pushed open the door roughly, the clang of its metal wings against the door making a clattering noise as he harshly budged it open, pushing the debris and clutter packed behind it hurdling and clattering to the floor. A robotic groan echoed from its throat as the metal thuds of his prosthetic legs pounded across the floor, drawing eyes from across the class room towards it. It ignored them and blinked in the direction of the pristine cleaned desks. It nodded toward Mulch and Peat who were already mid speech at this point. The scraping of Error's claws sounded as it crossed the floor towards an empty desk. An unpleasant noise tot he chicoons around it along with the plodding weight behind its steps. It pulled a chair up and sat in it. It's glowing eyes scanning the class. It was littered with robotic parts. Gears, nuts, bolts, wires, everything you could need unorganized and scattered across the room's floor. How this chicoon robotic teacher found anything was a surprise. Another robitic thrum left Error's throat in a sigh or perhaps a groan. It listened to Mulch or at least in part. It stretched its arm out roatting the cuff of its shoulder before unscrewing it from its body and dropping it with a thwump on to the table. The chicoons around it cringed again, shushing it in angry tones. Error ignored them and began fiddling with its arm idly. Making a robot was this class course huh? It knew a thing or two from working on its own body parts on a daily basis. It wondered what it could have use to build here. It tapped a metal claw on the desk, again gaining mad hushes. A spark of annoyance came from its mouth. Perhaps he could use something to help it work on his prosthetics? Some sort of tool or perhaps a new attachment to its arm? It yawned loudly and placed its head in its empty paw. i guess it'll figure it out later.

> PROMPT | Sara had never built a robot before. Nor had she ever even tried to draw a robot before. So they were not sure how this class was going to go, or why they had even signed up for it really. Curiosity, perhaps? After all, Sara did enjoy learning new things, though being tossed right in to designing a robot on the first day of class was not what the now rather anxious chicoon had been expecting. She had absolutely no idea what she was doing, much less what was technologically feasible for a robot design. Especially for a beginner such as themself to build. Hopefully the teachers would explain the basics before she actually had to start putting the robot together, she thought as she stared at the large sheet of paper she was supposed to be drawing a design for a robot on.

Sara figured they should probably start with something simple. At least if it was simple, she would be less likely to make any major mistakes... Right? Picking up their pencil for the first time since signing in on the sign up sheet, Sara hesitantly began to draw some simple shapes. Only to quickly erase them again as she realized she was not sure how to combine them into a robot. Sighing silently, Sara began to doodle a little crewmate in the corner of the paper, something that always helped them relax. And then, she realized... What if she made a robot crewmate? The design should be simple enough to make, and it wouldn't really need to have many moving parts, aside from the legs so it could walk around. Actually, that was probably perfect for them as a beginner who had never tried to make a robot before. It would only stress her out to try to make something overly complicated on her first try, so she needed something that would not be too confusing.

Now feeling much more hopeful about their chances of getting a good grade in the class, Sara eagerly began drawing a robotic version of a crewmate from various angles and viewpoints, using dotted lines and circles to show where they thought they could attach pieces of metal- or whatever materials the class would be using to make these robots- together. She even began writing little ideas in the margins, like possible dimensions for each part of the robot that she hoped would be reasonable. Maybe they should check with the teachers about that before they actually started putting it together... But at least she had something that she could work with, which was already much better than she had been expecting when the assignment had first been announced.

Puddles sits in the back of the class chewing on the textbook. They're thinking about what the pages taste like. As he chews and chews and chews it gets more and more soggy and mushy. mmmm yummy. They were too busy thinking about what the class would taste like that he caught none of what Mulch said.

Once Puddles is finally done getting distracted he notices that others are starting to draw what looks like robots. Oh no he missed the instructions. He doesn't feel like asking around to find out what's going on so he just picks up their pencil and begins to draw. People are drawing so he starts to draw too.

Finally after like three pages he finally realizes that they're supposed to be planning out the robot that they're making. It's a very crude sketch due to the shape of their hands but hey its something. What the heck is this? It looks like a weird lump with eyes. Puddles says it's the rock-inator 10000000. He can't even count that high. He just kept writing zeroes until he got bored of it. Well uh hey at least puddles planned something out.... right?? Uh good job buddy...

Fossil eagerly started plotting out his robot, he grabbed pencils and paper, and started figuring out what to build.
Despite his short arms, he still managed to make a fairly detailed sketch of a robotic Ankylosaur.
his current plans are to make the dinos legs and tail out of tin cans, and to use rocks for the horns and such. he also wanted to put a speaker in it so it could roar. he planned using an old blanket for the skin. he seems pretty confident in his design, but he forgot to include a moter or any actual electrical component... oh well...

After gathering her surroundings and happily introducing herself, Vesta is eager to get started. She sits and gazes at all the other chicoons, excitement brewing in her body as mulch starts to random. She noted that the similar (but smaller) chicoon's name was peat with a smile, thinking what a cute name it was!
She gathered up a couple of pieces of paper, a mechanical pencil and something to erase with, then seated herself again and let her ideas start flowing out of her, sketching up about five different aspects and designs she thought might work together.
About halfway through her sketching, she stops, gasping with a grin and pointing at what she had just created. It was a small drone-shaped robot, with a very cute face - it kind of looked like a manta ray, with a bunch of small circles along where its gills would normally be, and a spiky mechanical spine poking up from its back. Its stomach was sectioned off in half so that it could split open and serve as a small storage container - It looks like Vesta had created the schematics for a manta ray delivery drone! Now it was only a matter of figuring out all the wiring and putting it together, which she eagerly awaited.
