> PROMPT | Honeydew sat and listened intently to the new chicoon. Mulch? Peat? Honeydew thought to themself to remember the name... they were always so bad with names. They tried to pay attention once more before looking down at their sketch book and pencil. They sat and absentmindedly chewed at the tip of the pencil for a moment before starting to sketch. they sketched a few silly little robots before attempting to sketch a robotic arm idea. They thought it would be neat to try and make something that moved and could be used. They continued sketching until the class seemed to be over.

> PROMPT | Mori listens to Mulch with quiet excitement. They can’t want to start tinkering and putting together to most epic, awesome, amazing robot they could think of. It didn’t matter that Mori had no idea how to make one, that’s what the class was for after all, right? So they just had to make a good plan and follow it carefully, and soon enough their robot would be walking, talking, firing lasers…. Mori shook their head and tried not to get too off track.
They start to draw- a big body, two looong legs, for stepping on over people, 4 arms. The head was a recognisable robot face with a big smile- that was to create a false sense of security, before BAM the robot would fire laser beams out of it eyes!! It has an antennae sticking out of its head, so it could do… something, Mori wasn’t sure what it would be for. And now to add some colour. Definitely something colourful. They loved bright neon colours and light, something super flashy for a super awesome robot. Mori was definitely getting ahead of themself, but once their imagination got going there was no slowing it down, especially when it came to mechs. [203]

> PROMPT | Hannibal sits down at his desk, filling out the forms and listening to the instructions.
He’s not huge on speaking but he does enjoy listening and most of all watching. He watched the other chicoons start to write up their plans for their robots but he struggles to come up with an idea. At least for a while until he decides to work on a simple robot. He uses his own black ink that seeps off his body as ink on the paper.
‘The robot will be small with long arms and long legs, compared to its body. It will have a long neck, and be covered in oil.. Maybe not oil. OH! It will make slime! That will be its purpose, to make fun slime that chicoons can play with.’
He scribbles a crude doodle of what it could look like, but it seems to be just a drawing of himself.. Just without wings and a tail.. Whoops! [159 words]

> PROMPT | Poppet immediately regretted sitting in the back of the lecture hall, unable to fully tell the difference between Peat and Mulch. After a while of listening to the rambling, she decided appearing to pay attention wasn't worth falling asleep, pulled out her sketchbook, and got a head start on sketching possible robots to tinker around with. She wasn't totally sure what would work until she got her hands on some tools and materials. Eventually the noise around her turns from one voice to a crescendo of more and more. Glancing up she realizes she got too into planning and class had ended. Starting to pack up she took a more critical look at her paper and saw some possible ideas she could work with! Huzzah!! [125]

Max was excited to be able to take a course in robotics! He was a bit surprised upon entering the classroom to find the room in such a mess, but at least the desks were clean enough to sit on. With a little wiggle of elation, Max pulled a notebook and a pencil out of his bag and got ready to take notes. Except, the Chicoon who must be their teacher didn't seem to be saying much of anything important. Just that his name was Mulch, and the smaller Chicoon was Peat. So Max dutifully wrote down Mulch and Peat in his notebook. At least by doing so, he'd have an easier time remembering their names. The rainbow Chicoon's ears perked up when Mulch mentioned they would be using today's class time to plan out their robots. Fantastic!

Except, when Mulch let them start their brainstorming session, Max realized he wasn't entirely sure what to do. He knew so very little about robotics. What if he came up with an idea for a robot that was way too sophisticated? It would be a shame to craft an idea and then not be able to implement it because of his lack of knowledge. That meant he needed to keep his robot simple. But what did a simple robot look like? Max hummed quietly to himself, picturing different robots that he'd seen.

The Chicoon flipped to a fresh page in his notebook and started scribbling out words and doodles. Something with a small, chibi face would probably be really cute. Was a robot pet too complex for this class? He could just imagine building a teeny robot and bringing it home to show his twins, Kara and Quinn. If that was too advanced, maybe he could do something like one of those little vacuum robots? He drew a circle with wheels and big, googly eyes on it. Making a robot that just went round in circles couldn't be too hard, right? Max smiled to himself. He was coming up with some nice ideas for his robot, indeed! [345 words]
