Outside of a love for the not-so-popular sport of golf, Dennis loves to watch the stars on beautiful nights on the course. The course Dennis works at is in one of the clearest night spots- meaning he can see a lot of other stars that others may not be able to due to light pollution.
Dennis remembers spotting a constellation that resembled a bird. The resemblance was almost uncanny- it was too close to not be intentional. He wondered how the stars could form in just a way to look exactly like one. It boggled his mind.
The next day was a rainy day and the course was too muddy to play on, and Dennis sat inside to wait out the rain. All was peaceful until he heard a knock on his window. One quick look and he could see a bird on the ground under the awning, they must have hit the window! Dennis's immediate reaction was to run to the bird, and that is what he did. He brought the bird inside and rehabilitated it until it was conscious and ready to fly away.
It took a few hours until the bird was back to being itself. Dennis was highly worried the entire time- but the bird kept him busy that day. When Dennis went to release him, the rain had cleared up and the bird sat in his hand, hesitating before taking off into the sunset.
He associates this constellation with the bird he rescued that day, due to the proximity of the events as well as the meaning behind both of them.
