Max couldn't believe it. After all that hard work, the carousel was finally running! He'd gotten all the debris out from beneath the platform yesterday, and he'd tried turning the ride on. And it had run! The music had come on. The lights had blinked on. The platform had begun to spin smoothly and didn't make any horrible screeching sounds. The Chicoon had never accomplished something like this before in his life, and he felt quite proud of himself. Now there was one last thing he wanted to do. Repaint the animal characters! Today, he brought paint to do just that! [101 words]

smile and think about what he could do to keep helping, as magnus had been doing for the past several days. why he kept involving himself...no matter, he was already committed regardless of reason and he had every intention of seeing it through, especially with the progress seen today. it wasn't too hard of work to do seeing as he was basically acting as an assistant, and he was picking up interesting skills. he was too stubborn to stop helping now that they'd, that he'd really, come so far. and it felt good to feel like he was contributing to something new beyond his usual day to day stuff. As Smidgeon sees Ripsaw smile he can not find the feeling that it is some what very uncomfortable for Ripsaw to be smiling the way he is. In the back of his mind he is wondering if Ripsaw did something to the ride as he is never this cheery and happy. As Smidgeon takes a closer look at the ride he does not notice anything out of the ordinary with the way it has been fixed. As he wobbles around the ride it continues to creak and squeak as the cables should have been given some oil before it has been started to be ran again. As Smidgeon runs for the oil he sees that Ripsaw has already beat him to it and has started making his way back to the ride.

Evergreen is very glad to see that the ride is working again now! As Ripsaw runs off, Evergreen just watches the ride for a bit and reflects on their experience trying to fix it. Even though they had not managed to figure out how to fix the ride themself, they did learn a lot over the past several days. They learned how to use some new tools, how to fix wiring, and so much more! It had been a good learning experience, even if in the moment it had been rather stressful and they had felt very confused on more than one occasion. But hey, it had all worked out in the end!
