Prompt: Charcoal sighed as they reluctantly approached what remained of course 5, expecting to see puddles of ice cream leftover from Cinnabar's conquest, but instead is faced with another tower of ice cream-- even bigger than the last!
"SCOOP." The goopy chicoon immediately looked up and over to whoever was calling his name from where he was at the table, tallying score points. "Yeh? What's up?"
Charcoal threw down their club and gestured towards the new mountain of frozen dairy, showing more emotion in their exasperated actions than they had the entire year.
Scoop only smiled giddly, almost proud of himself.
"Yeah, isn't it great?! I was able to get my hands on even MORE ice cream, so I rebuilt the course!" He swished his tail around in excitement as he looked upon his pride and enjoy. Charcoal, however, felt differently. They glared at the course made of Neapolitan before grumbling and walking away.
"Giving up already...?" Scoop mumbled out loud, tilting his head in curiosity, before shrugging and going back to calculating scores.

His attention was drawn back when he heard the sound of... a blow torch...?
Turning to look over at the strange sound, Scoop let out a loud honk to see Charcoal melting the ice cream with a comically large flamethrower. Throwing down his pencil and scorebook, he ran over shouting at them to stop.
"CHARCOAL WAIT CHARCOAL WHAT ARE YOU DOING, STOP-"
"I WON'T SUFFER THE SAME FATE AS CINNABAR" Charcoal screamed back, continuing to torch their way to the hole.

Charcoal hunched over and panted, shouldering off the tank of the flamethrower as they caught their breath. Nearby, Scoop mourned the last bits of ice cream, scooping (pun not intended) it into his hands and rubbing his face against it as he sobbed into it.
"I'll *pant* get you more ice cream later. But no more, ohgodmyarms, no more ice cream mountain courses." Charcoal said weakly, picking up their club and walking over to the tee, before finally, almost pathetically, putting the ball.
