After taking a break for the past two days, Korbl decided that it'd be good for him to return to the ride and see if help was needed. The progress of repairing the ride seemed to be going very well! And now after seeing all three Chicoons at the ride, Korbl wanted to see if there was anything he could do to help them out.
He heads over towards the three and greets them, "Hey everyone!" he honked in a cheerful tone. "Nice work on the ride...seems like it's almost up and running again! Is there anything I can do to help you guys out?"

Evergreen offers to help of course! They are glad to see Ripsaw is making progress on fixing the ride, and feel bad that they have not been able to be more helpful themself. But maybe they will be able to help with something now that the ride is closer to completion? At the very least, they could go get tools from the shed for him or something. Even if it is just something small, they want to be there to help with it! They just want to feel like they are doing something to help, really. After all, they were asked to fix it originally, they would not feel right if they did not make every effort they could to do so.

Max headed back to the carousel with a big grin on his face. He'd remembered to grab the toolbox right away this time, which he set down on the carousel's platform before opening up the side hatch again. Yesterday, he'd spent a good amount of time inspecting underneath the platform. The metal spokes made movement a little difficult, as did the fact that it was incredibly dark under there. But with the help of the flashlight, Max had discovered that there wasn't just one object blocking the path of the platform. There were a whole bunch! Today, he wanted to attempt to remove them all.

So the Chicoon grabbed the flashlight and a crowbar from the toolbox and slipped into the darkness through the side hatch. He wriggled his way inside and clicked on the flashlight. It didn't take long for him to find the first piece of debris. A thick metal rod was bent over one of the metal spokes and had actually dragged a line through the dirt when the carousel had been turned on. Max carefully used the crowbar to unbend the rod enough that he was able to dislodge it from the spoke. He tossed it out the hatch, where it clanged on the ground.

The next thing he found looked a little bit like a metal sign, which had somehow gotten jammed between a spoke and the flat metal of the platform itself. This one took some effort to pry from its current position. The rainbow Chicoon was sweating heavily by the time the flat piece of metal sprang out from between the spoke and the platform. He crouched down to pick it up and realized it wasn't a sign at all. Literally, it was just a flat piece of metal! What in the world was it doing under here? The Chicoon shrugged and tossed it out the hatch, as well.

Methodically, Max moved around in a circle beneath the platform, stopping to also clean up the smaller debris such as cans and trash that he found. Maybe it would have been a good idea to haul a trash bag in here. Instead, Max just tossed all of the trash into a pile next to the hatch to pick up after he'd finished extricating the larger junk that was blocking the carousel from moving. It was hard work, but he managed to get everything loose! [400 words]

Everett walked up the group of Chicoons, trying to offer their assistance. “Hey, can I do anything to help you?” They asked, ducking to avoid Ripsaw throwing an object he pulled from the ride. “W-Woah!” They yelled, scrambling around. “Maybe I will be a bit more help with cleaning up the objects you are throwing out. Maybe you can just try to not hit me?” Everett shyly asked as they began picking up nuts and bolts. “You are doing a fantastic job, by the way.” They smiled, encouraging Ripsaw. “I feel like you are super close to getting the ride back up and running. That is a huge accomplishment!”

offer to help, as magnus is often inclined to do. he just can't help but offer those he knows help, as silly as that may sound. even if the only reason he knows them is becayse they accidentally roped him into this mess in the first place. alas, at this point he was firmly invested in seeing the fixing of the rides through, and to be honest he had learned a lot from this experience. sure a lot of that was what not to do, but those are important lessons to learn too and he doesn't actually work as a repair guy so it's not as if his performance here really matters. so long as the ride is fixed well and correctly eventually.
